The NBC Live Extra app is going to save my life on Saturday. **** prom I wanna watch game 5! #BecauseItstheCup
Yeah, it's crazy to think that if Gaborik had buried that OT chance in game 3 we could be tied 2-2 even with having been utter garbage in games 1 & 2. Just goes to show how slim the margin for error is.
He'd never do it becasue Brown, but about 20 seconds before he scored he laid a clean hit on Vlasic and Vlasic two handed him. I was secretly hoping Brown would put him through the boards right after he scored, but no such luck. Also wanted Regher to tune up Burns at the end there, was probably Robin's only chance to do something meaningful for the Kings.
Awesome. Gonna get to drunk post from my cousin's wedding.![]()

Love these:
The Mayor John Hoven @mayorNHL 25m
Will say... Go back and read the tweets from morning skate. #LAKings backed up every word... That was one game, now on to the next one.
'When you seen @DustinBrown23 leading by example, like he did tonight, it makes you want to follow.' - @tytoff16 #LAKings
Welp...Brown is never getting traded.![]()
Not that he doesn't anyway, but it was really inspiring to see Toffoli out there wrecking people with a little extra jump.

Can't wait.
Classless Kings fan.
You can't be serious. You want to fire the best coach in team history because he didn't put goons out there in the final minute.
Sutter is the best thing to happen to the Kings in a long long time. He took over a team that was spiraling into oblivion, the Kings were on there way to missing the playoffs, management was all going to be fired, probably a core player or two being traded and perhaps the Kings would be starting over with a new GM and many new players.
He took that team which was well out of the playoffs and won a Stanley Cup in dominating fashion and then returned to the Conf finals the next season and lost three games in the series by one goal despite having a vastly inferior roster.
This season he has Quick miss five weeks, on an already offensively challenged roster he has his #2 center and #1 lw turn into fourth line players, and he has his best goal scorer miss 10 more games and still makes the playoffs. Tell me any other team in the league that could stay afloat going through what Sutter went through this year with Brown and Richards? And you throw in the Carter and Quick thing, he did an amazing job this year.
Sutter does some things that piss me off sometimes too, but to say he should be let go because he didn't send tough guys at the end of the game, I just couldn't disagree more.
The Kings don't even have Goons, so I don't know where Tonell is coming from.
Sutter is trying to win a game, he doesn't have the luxury of a 3-0 series lead to have his players act like Jackasses at the end of the game.
Might I add as well, that Willie Mitchell's Sucker punch of a Shark is what set all that off.

Yep, honestly, don't give a **** about us being physical right back. Needed to happen sooner as far as I'm concerned. It's not like we were sending Clifford at Niemi, we were just having him handle ****bags like M. Brown.
Although I keep hearing references to a dirty hit by Dustin Brown so who really knows anymore.
HITTING is what the Kings live and die by. I think they forget sometimes how hated they are so they forget the effectiveness of a nice big hit. It's huge to getting a team to rethink their game or throwing them off. How do you think they made Quick into a sieve? They consistently ran him.
**** the refs for letting that happen so much though.
You and me both. I chickened out right before the playoffs and bought Double Black instead. It's already gone
I know the odds are bad, but this could be the start of something freaking incredible.
Gotta save the Blue Label (and it's insane price) for a special occasion. I'm tempted to watch highlights from the Flyers' comeback against the Bruins just to instill some inspiration and hope that this is still possible.
I really do hope they got in their heads and dropped a seed of doubt in there.
