Can Doughty play 60 mins? If Regehr, Voynov and Mitchell start pulling their head out of their ***** and start punishing Sharks players and clean up in front of their net, then I think Quick and the rest of the forwards can settle things down.

Look at how much better Muzzin has been due to him and Doughty being in control and in position. The defense needs to be sharper for this team to stand a chance to remain alive.

I love that Sutter admires Toffoli and Pearsons play this game.

He said he's not worried about them being on the second line..

There you go folks. Most likely the same line up next game.

Is nhl.com lying or did Richards get the most icetime of our forwards? Didn't see the whole game, was Kopitar out for a while or what is up with 17:24 for him?

Praise Allah. And he should. Kids were both energetic beasts on both sides of the puck.

I absolutely love what the Sharks did the last two minutes? Need confidence LA Kings? Look at the score, and look at the tantrums they threw the last couple minutes. And then tell me, does that look like a team that's unbeatable? Oh man if I was a kings player, that explosion at the end would raise my confidence up tremendously. That's not a team that's unbeatable. I ****ing love you Sharks,

Love these:

Will say... Go back and read the tweets from morning skate. #LAKings backed up every word... That was one game, now on to the next one.

If they somehow pull through, I'm buying a bottle of Blue Label to celebrate.

You and me both. I chickened out right before the playoffs and bought Double Black instead. It's already gone :P

I know the odds are bad, but this could be the start of something freaking incredible.

We're gonna go Jihad on their assess!

They started to look like the old team again. There were a few misfires but they started to look like this could happen. I can see them coming back. SJ looks vulnerable.

And yes, I started that choke conversation on the main board because I know in the back of their mind, they know it's possible.

A win is a win and I will take it but that was an embarrassment that I hope leads to our finding a different coach in the offseason.

You can't be serious. You want to fire the best coach in team history because he didn't put goons out there in the final minute.

Sutter is the best thing to happen to the Kings in a long long time. He took over a team that was spiraling into oblivion, the Kings were on there way to missing the playoffs, management was all going to be fired, probably a core player or two being traded and perhaps the Kings would be starting over with a new GM and many new players.

He took that team which was well out of the playoffs and won a Stanley Cup in dominating fashion and then returned to the Conf finals the next season and lost three games in the series by one goal despite having a vastly inferior roster.

This season he has Quick miss five weeks, on an already offensively challenged roster he has his #2 center and #1 lw turn into fourth line players, and he has his best goal scorer miss 10 more games and still makes the playoffs. Tell me any other team in the league that could stay afloat going through what Sutter went through this year with Brown and Richards? And you throw in the Carter and Quick thing, he did an amazing job this year.

Sutter does some things that piss me off sometimes too, but to say he should be let go because he didn't send tough guys at the end of the game, I just couldn't disagree more.

Those bounces San Jose got in game 3 really hurt now, but we're still alive. Gotta give everything they got for the rest of the series, but especially back in San Jose next game. GO KINGS GO!

Yeah, it's crazy to think that if Gaborik had buried that OT chance in game 3 we could be tied 2-2 even with having been utter garbage in games 1 & 2. Just goes to show how slim the margin for error is.

Was Brown's goal a classless empty netter?

He'd never do it becasue Brown, but about 20 seconds before he scored he laid a clean hit on Vlasic and Vlasic two handed him. I was secretly hoping Brown would put him through the boards right after he scored, but no such luck. Also wanted Regher to tune up Burns at the end there, was probably Robin's only chance to do something meaningful for the Kings.

I was thinking the same thing.
