I'd say the defensive support they received from the forwards was a big help. That's also a reason why the Kings produce such little offense.

This isn't fitness issue. It's just a smallish player who took a beating for years and is completely done as a player because of it.

I honestly see no scenario where he is back next season, if anyone gives a pick he is gone via trade, and as I suspect there isn't any interest in that contract he is being bought out.

I've denied Dean making some moves, but I now believe we'll see some MAJOR changes this offseason. At this point I welcome them with open arms. This team's defense needs to be completely retooled with an injection of speed and youth while the offense needs to be held accountable and a few "character" guys need to be traded. I trust Dean.

I was a bit uncomfortable with all the trade talk here about brown/williams/richards/voynov before, but the team needs a shake up.

It's ironic that the strong point of the Kings (Defense) is whats killing them in this series so far.

The offense looks good if you ask me, the Defense is god awful.

Kings need a big third period from their top guns. It's great and all that they've also silenced the Sharks' top players, but they've been completely outclassed by the Sharks' checking lines and the Kings aren't spending much time with the puck in the Sharks' end.

Need to put bodies and pucks in front of Niemi or they're going to be down 0-2 coming back to Staples.
