Dear Dean, out with the old in with the new.

Do not re- sign Greene or Mitchell.
Trade block - Williams, Voynov, and Clifford

Need - a young #2 Dman, a # shutdown # 4 and this thing called a left winger

The sharks defense has been very good, they keep up with our forwards. It's really hard to be a King's forward right now.

Not gonna win when freakin third and fourth line guys are beating you. Richards, Brown, Gaborik, Williams, no shows again. :shakehead

Okay this **** from Sutter is starting to piss me off. Greene has been a disaster this period and now this constant line shifting isn't helping at all. But let's still not go back to the lines that were working.

This game is far from over, but holy crap did the Kings just let up in the 2nd period. Haven't had a single good shot on Niemi the entire 2nd. They just sat back and allowed the Sharks' 4th line to walk all over them. A disgraceful effort, much like the first 40 minutes in Game 1. This type of performance disgusts me, but as long time Kings fans, most of us are used to this type of play from the team. It's in their rich history.

This has deteriorated fast. I don't blame Quick at all. He has received almost no support the past 2 games.

The biggest problem is that the Sharks are playing like we did in 2012. Not just team speed, but quickness of mind. They're getting the puck and moving it without taking time to think.

Clifford has been useless for years but Nolan's suspension seemed to neuter him. I think there is more to extract from Nolan and think we should not give up on him yet.

I think this is going to be a valuable learning lesson for Dean. He can't just assume that everyone is going to maintain their prior levels from one year to the next as they get older. To stay on top teams have to evolve, all the time. Some of his marriages and loyalties to certain players are going to be put to an end two months from now.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

This is not the 2012 Kings, no one is "flipping switches" or "saving it for the playoffs" . The 2012 Matt Greene, Willie Mitchell, Justin Williams and Mike Richards are gone and never coming back, probably the same with Brown. It's time to move on. The more management and fans keep clinging to 2012 the harder it's going to be to have another playoff run like 2012.

"We aren't going to beat San Jose scoring 4 goals." - Sutter, yesterday.

Guess I can head to bed.

You have too admit, Sutter is talking about the lack of Defense the Team is showing.

And he is right. it's burying the Kings.
