Both goals are a result of Greene being ineffective with the puck.Pass Bounces off the back of the net and it gets turned over...goal. Then has a open lane to shoot, misses the net, the pucks goes around and the sharks are off to the races.

Greene was a good soldier for the Kings, but I don't even know if he is an NHL caliber defenseman at this point, the fact that he is playing in the playoffs for a team with Stanley Cup aspirations tells you about the Kings complete lack of depth and talent on the blue line.

I am with LITN, we need a couple of defenseman this offseason.

I think this is going to be a valuable learning lesson for Dean. He can't just assume that everyone is going to maintain their prior levels from one year to the next as they get older. To stay on top teams have to evolve, all the time. Some of his marriages and loyalties to certain players are going to be put to an end two months from now.
