Not that disappointing they lost the series but that was a rough way to lose it. Hopefully they learn from it.

Tough loss. Oh well hopefully this team fills some holes.

Thing thats bothersome are you arm chair anaylst however. There are no such thing as playoff goalies. Where was all this negativr talk of kari all season? What has he played 8 playoff games? Thats a minute sample size to make any analysis.

There are not better alternatives to kari on the market. All we can do is hope jake pans out period. Tough loss.

I know the last thing in the world you guys want right now is other team's fans coming in and giving you their comments, but I just wanted to congratulate you guys on a great season. Didn't watch many Dallas games this year, but watched every game in the playoffs and you guys are a very good team. You guys are going places with Seguin and Benn. Improve that blue line and you guys will be a force next year. You are in good hands with Jim Nill. Once again, congrats on a great season.

We were up 4-2 with 2 mins left. yeah blaming refs sucks. but they DID suck pretty bad. including the minors that Getzlaf just said was so important.

We didn't took care of our business, that's it. Blaming someone else for our mistakes is not sitting well with me.

Tough to lose it this way, would have rather just lost a full sixty minute game than giving up three goals in 7 minutes or whatever it is.

Well, I'm sad, but not angry. They were expected to be bottom of the league again if I remember right, and they made it to the big show. Can't expect them to win the Cup, they've done damned well considering. Taking the #1 seed to 6 games and keeping them mostly close games is an accomplishment. We'll come back stronger next year, even if only addition by subtraction from expiring contracts, I'm really excited for the future.

The NHL is a fixed business. Moreso than Italian soccer. There's a reason we call it the big show.

Why do we trouble ourselves with this? We knew we weren't going to win. They generated new interest in Dallas and are in this for the long haul.

I want to see considerable progress made this off season toward this team not being part of the big show and paving their own path towards being a successful team.

I am excited about the off-season and the future of this team but the fact that I have to wait almost 6 months for the Stars to play again makes me want to cry.

Man, the refs were infuriating all series long. Double standards all over the ****ing place. Spear Benn? 2 minutes. Spear Perry? 5 and a game and a fine. Quick whistles for the Ducks, and slow ones for the Stars when the Ducks need that lead. 10 minute misconducts all around for a bunch of thin skinned and incompetent refs. It's not the reason we lost this series but it sure did help.

**** the NHL, **** the refs, **** the Ducks.

Bruins fan here. You have a great, incredibly exciting team. This loss stings of course, but I can tell this group of guys will turn it into motivation in playoffs to come, and will soon be the ones inflicting heartbreak on others. Thanks for showing us such great hockey, and best of luck going forward.

Hopefully we go with some of the younger guys next year and let Whitney, Gonchar and Thomas move on.

Oh yea, and let Ali Luchia move one too

I mean we all knew it was going to end some time... tough to see it end this way against a team I 100% believe we could have taken if Lehtonen just played an average series and some more bounces / calls went our way.

Plenty to improve upon for next year, and plenty of ways to do it. I'm going to be excited to see what Nill does with all the assets and cap space he has to work with.

I have a feeling as guys like Horcoff, Cole, Whitney, and Gonchar take their leave we are going to see this team transform into a dominant hockey club. We might get our rematch with Anaheim in the coming years, except I expect that we'll have the home ice advantage in that one :)

****, we had 4 or what 6 minutes of PP to make it 5-2.. It's our fault for not making the worst team that won the conference ever pay for that..
