Schenn isn't doing that hot. And Simmonds is so overrated. Like most of the flyers.

I still don't get the slobbering over Schenn. I watch him play, and granted he's 22, but he doesn't strike me as very smart. He's gotten his bell rung pretty well a couple times and those add up fast. And Wayne Simmonds was one of my favorite Kings at that time, but let's get real, he wouldn't be potting 30 goals in LA.

Love how he singled out Williams. Sutter should bench him for not getting credited for a single hit.

Kings credited with 69 hits... Guess who had ZERO???? That's right, the player soon to be traded, Justin Williams.

Still banging that trade Williams drum(some folks). .

Sounds like the practice was spirited and serious....Good boy's , good.

I always worried about Richards' health with his style of play, shows how worn down he's become. I still root for the guy though...

I kinda see the same thing with Schenn. He's had probably 3-4 known concussions, as well as other injuries and he's not even 23 yet.

Wow. I was tossed off the boards during the Cup run year because I was only one of two posters doing any sort of Richards' trade bashing. Now the entire board is on it.

I knew this would happen. We traded Schenn and Simmons for 1 Stanley Cup...and that's it. Now we are stuck with 5-6 years of a old, slow, not physical Richards' who makes almost 6 million.

In turn, we gave up a younger version of Richards in Schenn, who makes a lot less and Simmonds, who has emerged as an elite power forward in the NHL...and makes less than Richards.

While Simmonds has turned into a real good player in Philly, he wouldn't have that same impact here, not with our defense first structure. He's been put into a completely different situation in Philly than he was here.

burn it all down

one game folks. two of the worst periods of hockey this team played all season, but what the hell....

burn it all down

I'm sure Schenn is a great guy and hes a decent player but he isn't a winner. I might be missing something but.. no memorial cup, no stanley cup, no world junior gold.

I don't know nearly as much about prospects and players as a lot of you guys, but i just always had a feeling that Schenn wasn't a winner and so far he has not been. Yes, I realize its a team sport.
