"Patrik Laine collided with Justin Barron. Contact to his right knee, he returned to the bench for a few minutes.

It seems that it was only a small scare since he just jumped back on the ice." - Yanick Lévesque
Geez.......close call.
At least it was not the same knee either.....
Sounds like all good.
Barron, come on man, WTF.

The bottom 6 has been one of the few bright spots this year...

Gallagher on pace for 30 goals
Heineman on pace for 20 goals
Evans on pace for 41 pts
Anderson and Armia on pace for 37 pts
The bottom six is fine, the top lines just need to up their scoring rate. Having Laine back will hopefully give an injection of that.

Simple mistake, no big deal.

What's more concerning is for something that was so low speed/minimal impact....he was hobbling after. I have yet to see Laine skate at full speed, make hard cuts and/or stops. Imo, he's nowhere near ready and if he does comes back right away as reported, I'm expecting minimal production.

Exactly, the bottom six have been very good while Dach and Slaf have been incredibly disappointing and that is the main issue. At least Dach has an excuse......
