Anybody got any idea why KH seems so reluctant to talk about Pascal Vincent's involvement in this?
Just click the "show ignored content" on the bottom right on the mainboard page and you'll see the thread if the OP is on your IL.ahhhhhh I see, makes sense
Found the little b**t**dYou probably have the Leafs fan who started the thread there on your IL, like I did.
lol I was waiting for that. Well done! That trade happened because some people keep whining that there was not enough PURE LAINE in Montreal......
It's the main thing, so go to home for the forum and you'll see it.Don't think so, I never found it/opened it
I see people making mentions of Eric Engels having some damage control on something he said earlier about Laine? What is it about?
He said he would not go into details but that they did their homework. He said they talked to people that were around him in Columbus and Winnipeg.Anybody got any idea why KH seems so reluctant to talk about Pascal Vincent's involvement in this?
close!!Return guesses?
I say Anderson and Harris....maybe a 2nd or something too.
Cap space is both cheaper than fans think (Cody Ceci) and more daunting/uninviting than fans think (Laine).
On the balance, Hughes and Waddell both won the trade. Laine was dumped with zero retention — a big win for CBJ’s bottom line — and he slightly overpaid for Jordan Harris in the process. It was a nearly cost neutral cap dump for CBJ. For MTL it’s obvious, just as long as Harris doesn’t turn into Brian Leetch we’re okay with the risk.

Weird that you can't, unless you browse on your phone and somehow blocked/ignored the thread ?
It's weird no one else in the league wanted to make a better offer. With the cap recently going up, a lot of teams have cap space.
RIGHT hahahahaha. When it was reported that Laine wanted out, it always made sense for the habs to get him.
Not many teams have the assets and cap space to acquire him. And the habs had a clear need.
