One thing is for sure. Homer and fletcher at the helm there will be rumors all over the damn place with this team. Homer will be giving shit out left and right now he is back in the know.

Hakstol isn't getting fired for a while, even if Q wants to come here, wouldn't surprise me if he waits until the offseason before making a decision, why come in mid-stream when you can collect $6M, scout the team and the AHL franchise, decide if you think it's a good situation, and then hit the ground running in June without dealing with this season's chaos? Of course, he may be bored hanging around at home.

Lehtera isn't an issue, waive him or not, you still have to pay him. It's less about him than finding better centers, Weal, Laughton, meh.

No coach is going to play 11 players under 25 unless they're writing off the season and tanking.
Right now they already have 7, so don't hold your breath for mass promotions anytime soon.
And after watching the Phantoms twice in a week, I don't see anyone but NAK who is NHL ready, and NAK only in a 4th line role.
Myers shows flashes but is still very inconsistent, Friedman is improving but could use more seasoning, Kase could use more time.
Hart should stay where he is for a few months.

So which 30 year old free agents are gonna be signed to McDavid like contracts at the hands of this dumbass?

Fire him before he ruins this team, that somehow I see having hope, anymore

Looking at this guys history I'm immediately nervous for the offseason, but I haven't really taken a look at the upcoming UFAs.
Please for the love of god, focus on finding a coach and trying to make some sane moves. Get a decent goalie, maybe try to flip a defenseman and a pick for a slight upgrade to D, and send a vet to the minors to send a message to this team.
