Pissing away points against one of the worst teams in the League.

We havent played great since coming back from Xmas. Would have been nice to squeeze out a point if one bad goal didn’t go in though. Oh well; that’s why Picks is the back up.
Not sure what you mean. Pickard kept this from being a rout.

They have a bunch of youth there been improving. He threw ours out and added aging players who are on the decline. That youth and potential can make a difference.

That can change with some trades and stuff but right now.. I don’t like the teams direction.
and yet both teams are tied in points

a week ago, no one gave a shit about the Kings...now they're suddenly "scary"

A whole lot of "don't give a f***" starting from the captain on down, except for Drai and Picks. One of our worst games in the last 2 months by far, considering the lowly opposition. Nurse with an absolutely brutal game. If not for Pickard, this is a blowout.

Bagskate them tomorrow morning. They certainly didn't work up a sweat this weekend.

100% agreed. And send the coddling mothers back for the rest of the season. Like @Lay Z Boy GM said "you did your best honey"

Haha

This is some real chicken little shit.

Yeah if we play like we did the last 4 games in the playoffs we’re f***ed either way, doesn’t matter who we play lol.

However if we play like the 4 games previous to that (TBL, MIN, VGK, FLA) we probably win the cup.

It’s still December. It’s wild to be writing this team off when we still have over half the season left.
Its a Jaded view.

Kings look about as dangerous as paper clips most nights.

Clarke has been one improvement but they got a lot of players just getting older and they had to fold on a handful of futures players that just weren't getting nothing. Kings only hope is we have Stu in net every game.

Consider the source. Cyclone is a knowledgeable guy but he’s extremely consistent with his takes on the team.

This guy has been a doubter ever since I’ve been on here lol. Shit loss. And to a certain extent he’s right because the Skinner/Arvidsson signings haven’t panned out at all. While LA has had a strong start like last year.

But as I said earlier, it’s December. A lot can happen in 46 games.
I’m not even calling it all over. The team has time to improve and correct the roster. But if playoffs started today we would lose. Bowman needs to get to work and correct Jeff Jackson’s mistakes.

Dads: “what the f*** was that? Where’s the effort?”

Moms: “you played perfectly it must have been bad luck”

Is that what these relationships are normally?

Because both parents of mine absolutely dragged me if I played poorly.

In fact after one bad practice my mom said to me “I’m not sure you deserved to even be driven home after that. In fact the only place I want to drive you to is an orphanage.”

The team is back to looking old and slow again and particularly in the Kings game, very soft. The bottom six was embarrassingly bad in these two games. Stetcher also really struggled. I don’t think these games are just an anomaly either. The team, despite sneaking off with a couple late wins against bad teams wasn’t playing well before the break either. This team needs a roster shakeup of some sort. I get it’s going to be hard to do much with the cap situation being what it is but this isn’t looking like a successful mix.

I know people will hate to hear this, and I like Knob for the most part, but IMO he's not getting enough out of this group. I'd like to see him make some better decisions with the forward lineups in particular.
Who knows. You know I didn't like this roster headed into the season. The dog hunted for awhile but I'm looking at a lot of players like Brown, henrique, Perry, Janmark Ryan that are running out of gas. Was a strange play expecting all of these to have enough gas in the tank this season after a long last season. Looks like we're going to see SC hangovers at times and a crew that just looks like nothing after the McD and Drai show.

We didn’t give up enough to call it a rout. Probably sitting at 3xga. Could have used an extra save on that one muffin though. And / or the wrap attempt.
Lol, not sure what game you were watching. They were all over us and had multiple grade A chances.

I guess skinner wasn’t the problem. I think each player on the team was wondering who the new scape goat was going to be.

Bottomsix is getting absolutely caved but who would even have these guys in 2024. The only defensible ones were Janmark and Henrique and look like both have run out of gas. Connor Brown such a bad hockey player at this point its a wonder he still has any defenders. Guy is being exactly what I stated. Coming in here on a retirement contract where he can jsut look down the bench and wait for others to get it done. This seems to be an attitude problem with much of the team.

Probably the best first step is to see if you can offload Jeff Skinner somewhere, might as well get more cap for the deadline if you’re going to healthy scratch him.

Then there’s two options:

- Top 6 F
- Top 4 D

OR

- Top 4 D
- Goalie

And I’m not certain if we have the resources to acquire these assets.
