I wish Igor would’ve thrown a fit on that first panthers goal. He doesn’t protest enough. He needs to fight the refs a little

but if he isn’t going to do it the coach or someone else has to.

We cannot have players running him, like the entire f***ing night.

i thought they wanted to bring in players to show some toughness? Where was Reaves? Tonight was the time to show it

pick someone out I don’t care who.

that was a big takeaway from this one for me. Can’t have that shit happening with a Vezina level tender in net and up 4-0

1st star has to go to Laf for getting the team in a 4v4 situation. Usually those play out horribly for us but it came in handy tonight.

7-3-3.

Next 3 games are CBJ, NJ, MTL.

Say we are 9-4-3 after that. We are 5 games from the 21 game mark. They are positioning themselves to be there at the end of the season too.
The next three are absolute must wins

Yea except he didnt and we beat the best team in the league. Undoubtedly the #1 star. We lose that game 100 times out of 100 with Georgiev in net

Yeah but goals like that third one make me less confident in saying that. The reason we all hate Georgiev is because he gives up goals like that. Now I wonder would Shesterkin have had the same collapse against Edmonton? I was sure he wouldn't have on Friday and now I don't know.

Fourth line was fantastic tonight. Causing turnovers and throwing their weight around. Hunt was a menace, so was Reaves.

Outside of the goal I also thought Miller did a lot of really good things out there.

Really don’t care about the points. Panarin was a train wreck out there. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t injured or there wasn’t something going on with him personally.

The Laf and Kakko reality gets more terrifying by the minute. Kakko is back to rookie year confidence. At this point with Laf I get excited if he completes a pass on his shift. Meanwhile Anton Lundell is out there looking like a 10 year veteran. I’m not even close to writing either guy off as a bust, but as each game goes by it stings worse and worse.

The “it’s the Panthers they’re really good” thing only goes so far. It’s the NHL, any team can beat any team. Some of you see this as a playoff team - we shouldn’t be flabbergasted when we beat another good team.

Yeah, I agree with this. If ever there was time for Reaves shenannigans: it was Igor constantly getting ran through this game.

I understand the negativity around here because the 5-on-5 okay leaves a lot to be desired, but the last 2 years the team has had extremely slow starts. If that trend continues they’re going to be in a great position later on in the year.

I also think Drury really needs to go out and get a veteran Top 6 RWer.

Also if it’s any consolation prize, I thought Kakko played better tonight.

Lol how? You’re sitting watching tv, he’s playing 60 minutes of hockey against one of the best offenses in the NHL. People get worn down at the end of exhausting activities. It’s not some mystery

If it were with 5 minutes left I get it, but the game was over if he wanted it to be at that point.

Man, I never would’ve thought Hank would have that sorta reaction to the last minute of the game, More of less said “it’s a win and you move on from the late goals”.

Igor slamming the stick !
