Roli and Talbot were probably the best goalies I’ve seen as an Oilers fan. Not exactly elite goalies but they were at a high level for a year or two.

Carolina is pretty desperate too for average goaltending and they just waived him. Canes fans/media say he has looked off all season (i.e., their version of Campbell)

That being said, perhaps a fresh environment would reboot his game because, as you mentioned, historically he has been a solid goalie.
