That was the worst series by a leafs defenseman ever. You could not have played worse if you tried.

I don't think anyone is hating on him, I just don't think he has had a good game, and that is because I think he is a lot better than he has shown.

It's also his second game... I think he will get more comfortable as the series goes on.

2 bad series, he f***ed us last too against TB. Cost the team 2-3 games by himself.

I have no idea why the entire team is jumping into the offensive zone together...that 3rd Panthers goal is a backbreaker going into the 3rd period...Leafs had all the momentum...who was the other dman? It wasn't Brodie's fault, he was covering his side.

Willy hasn't been horrible. He has been asked to do shit that isn't leveraging his strength.
It is simple...make him the primary shooter....give him a defensively capable guy and a guy who can grind.
O'Reilly, Willy and Knies. Looked good before. Lifts Willy to elite by letting him play to his elite strengths.

He was getting a bit of flak earlier in the game but I don't think turning away from a clear open net really helped him out too much. He just got lucky a bit and bunting scored right after. Id like to see more out of him.

He was struggling before then, pretty much since being paired with McCabe, actually. Rielly-Schenn turned it on in Game 1 but we're still waiting on McCabe & Brodie...

I think Brodie was heading off for a change and the puck quickly came back into the neutral zone.

Agreed, obviously he looks nervous with the falling over while pivoting etc. He has a lot more to show and will hopefully be given the chance to do so
