I don't think I'll ever feel like a lead is safe (for either team) in this series

This series will feature a lot of offense and physicality. Run and gun meets rock em sock em type hockey. Florida is never out of the game with their relentless forecheck and agressive north and south transition game. Of course no lead will be safe against such a team and the panthers think the same when they see all our weapons on offense.

Doesnt feel like a playoff game….feels more regulation season game. So open.

Normal. It’s just game 1, both teams are feeling each other and learning about each other. They are studying each other. And Florida is not even a rival of the leafs, in fact both teams are not even rivals, no playoff history or bad blood between the two teams. It’s the first ever that the panthers and the maple leafs are facing in the playoffs.

Nylander that’s going at 50% is still our best forward at creating space. The time goes slow when he’s got the puck on his stick.

I think ROR as his C with Tavares as the other winger would be way better. Those two guys will go and grab him the puck from the corners.

Plays with tavares does nothing everybody’s put him with matthews so we put him with matthew and thats not clicking so now posters are saying we should put him with oreilly
