The crisis where after 5-7 years of this core they are showing no signs of improvement. We are still shuffling wingers around them trying to motivate them to perform on a consistent basis.

I was just about to say this. Florida is such a dirty f***ing team. Especially Bennett. I hope Reaves dresses tomorrow night. He will earn his paycheque by bagging him alone IMO

He’s their leading scorer this year, got 80 a few years ago and 67 last year.

Buffalo traded him for Devon Levi and 28th overall in 2022.

Something like that would have been helpful to us.

Looking at the standings... its early and the way they've been playing I don't expect it .... but this week could go a long way in climbing up the standings.

Florida should be tired. Leafs need to take advantage. Seattle hasn't been very good this year... and Boston is starting to look like a normal team finally.

This team should be ready for this week. Two divisional rivals above you. They need some regulation wins. Put teams away early.

They're at home. Take advantage.

I happened to watch a bit of Overdrive yesterday and everyone agreed with O'Dog when he said "this is not a serious team" and that says it all really.

I think back to what Patrick Mahomes said a few weeks ago - "if I play better, everyone will play better". He's basically saying the buck stops here, the nonsense stops now, I will lead the way and I know my team will follow me. I wish we had a leader like that but sadly, that is not the case.

Mahomes hates losing. The Leafs’ stars seem to be OK with it.
