3 months if surgery right away should have Monty close to the start of the regular season.
No training camp, but at least hopefully can do some type of workouts(cardio) to not be too far behidn.

Ekblad will miss the start of camp due to surgery/recovery.

Montour likely out 3 months after surgery.

Nothing for Tkachuk, just a 4-6 week painful recovery but avoids going under the knife.

Let’s be honest, hoarding picks and prospects with Dale never did anything good for us either.

Yup. TBD how prospects from Zito's drafts pan out too.

Honestly, fine with the trading of picks for NHL players while the core is solidly in their 20's.
It's not the NFL where day 3 picks can start/play right away.
