Confirmed with Link: Panarin taking leave of absence from NYR (Warning in First Post)

Especially a mad man that was literally quoted as saying that TJ Galiardi should be arrested and have to piss and shit in a hole for criticizing Putin and Russia.

Anyone who believes Nazarov has any credibility after seeing that has serious issues and needs a mental evaluation.

Do you have to "make money out of it" to be considered a dissenter? :) Now THAT would be truly hypocritical.

I don't need to come up with any other names. My response was to a poster who claimed that Panarin was the "ONLY" dissenting athlete. It's simply isn't true, and there's no reason to put Panarin on the pedestal. I never made a statement about how commonplace the criticism of the current regime is among the Russian athletes. This is an unrelated topic.

That's the part that makes me think there is more to this that is not being reported yet.

But, I think it's more that there's more than just Nazarov flapping his gums and Bread is being cautious.

Please, re-read my previous post. I never said that I believed that the event had occurred. That's why I used the adjective "alleged".

I won't call you a moron because I think that you inadvertently misread my post. I believe (no pun intended) that it was an honest mistake on your part.

Cops in former soviet countries are just like cops in Mexico. Money talks and bs walks. I’m not saying Panarin did anything by any means but the fact there would be no police report is not surprising
 
Putin must only see him as a mild annoyance. When he really gets pissed off at someone, he invents allegations of pedophilia. Seriously, why is ANYONE treating this like a real story? Putin does this so often that they have a specific term for it (Kompromat). Panarin has been too blunt and open in his criticism of Putin on several occasions. This is a political shot across the bow. It's Putin's way of saying "shut up or the next round will be worse for you."

Actually you don't even need to bribe police. You can pay money to a victim, and police can't do anything. Police works only if a victim files a complaint about the case. Without it police can't do shit.
