OS used to take 6 then head to tiviote Dale then head down toward Donegal and over to 23. Not sure if it's still the case but most likely.

Both teams are driving the 6 no matter what though right? Unless they take the 10 to Kitchener? Beyond that, I actually prefer the 23 to most highways in Southern Onatrio. Well maintained because it's used heavily. Either way, unfortunate that they had to deal with

Owen Sound wasn't going to Kitchener.
The roads from Owen Sound to London can have far different
weather conditions.
And for the record, I drove home after last night's game in OS white outs and heavy drifting in places. Glad both teams made their destination safely.
Keep your thoughts with the Attack who are still on the road as I type . Lots of road closures in Grey County.
Update, the boys just got home 11pm . I'm sure they will just be glad to put today back in a box and lock it away.

Different bus company

People react differently to experiences like the Attack had today. I hope they keep an eye on the kids for lingering effects
I think the powers that be will need to up their game.

Game should have been rescheduled. All things considered the Attack boys showed up. Score dis not representative of how they played
Won't deny it should of been rescheduled. The whole day obviously through the team off.. were going to go with that atleast. London was well prepared and did exactly what they planned. Great game on their part. Maybe The Attack can use this as a bit of an excuse but realistically they haven't been good enough for a while. I hope this game wakes them up. Sometimes it takes a good embarrassing butt whooping to turn a team around. Hopefully everyone can take their share of accountability learn from it and move on. Put it in the rear view don't forget it happened but don't dwell on it and just learn and get better.

All i hear today is excuses. Ya, they were late to the game, yes the roads were bad. But if you are going to decide to get to the gamer, at least show up and play. Starts witht the coaching, they have a built in excuse?? Imagine being barlow and seeing your winger going into a hostile building being tersigni. A guy who is a healthy scratcha nd 4th line guy. Not once did you push back physically or with any effort for the guys that aren't physical. Smith I would say has been your worst dman in the last 3 games. Where were your stars? nowhere to be found. Why not start a physical line and get some energy going. Hookey, Stewart and i guess that's it. Smith? Something has to change, coach(es). Something definitely not right with your team. Forget about home ice, you are oin danger of missing playoffs. Imagine when you lose 10-0 and your goalie is your best player, and was the best at moving the puck out of your own end. Your dzone is terrible, you are stuck for long, long sstretches in your end. I'm not smart enough to know the answers, but I hope someone up there is. It was a tough weekend for us too , 8-0 after 2 in Oshawa.

You are not wrong on that one. Just no emotion from anyone no leader skating to the bench trying to get the team going not one guy seems to show that they are not happy with the teams performance currently. I hope they find a way but right now they are playing like a team at the bottom.. They need to turn it around. Stop pointing fingers figure it out. If they are truly a "good team" they will. .maybe they could use a closed door players only meeting .. maybe they have had one who knows but something needs to change and it should start with the leaders of the team.

Problem is even the 'physical' guys like Hookey and Stewart were passive. Its not like anyone showed anything.

Team, and honestly moreso the players, are at a crossroads. If they were upset that the management didn't do more, they are not showing they deserved it. Lots of players with lots to play for, pro contracts, roster spots for next year, last shot to win.

This is it, either go or quit. Something for sure is wrong with the group, but they have more talent and ability that they have shown all year. Gut check time.

I saw Stewart with 4 good hard hits, and noone on London will fight him except Boulton, Maybe he should have grabbed someone and jump them, but that isn't his style. It doesn't have to be the "tougher' guys even some of the less physical guys can do it. All it takes is someone to show show some guts. It will send ripples throught the team that they are there to compete. I agree, it's time the leaders took control and showed they would like to be in the playoffs for starters.

I don't really think management's decision to buy was based on how the team was playing but more so based on how the roster is constructed, veteran laden team and giving them a shot. I don't think this group at any time really demonstrated that they are capable of being a top team this year though on paper this is a team that is certainly capable of more. I can't for the life of me figure out why this team doesn't work. It's not going to be a simple fix.

I think some of the issues come back to the offseason. It was a quick decision to move on from Walters and it's pretty apparent he started the year on a very short leash. I don't know if that was DeGray's call or if hands were tied financially but in hindsight that was a move that needed to have been made in the offseason so that a proper coaching search could have taken place. Coaching changes midseason often don't deliver the desired results. It's tough to take over a bench on the fly and institute changes. The benefit of time in preseason and training camp to implement the new coach's systems is completely gone.

At the end of the day, it's the players in the room that have the most influence on games with the effort and compete level that they bring to the rink day in and day out. I think the old saying of hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard applies with this group. If this group can ever get the compete consistently aligned with the talent on the roster then maybe they can find some success.

I agree, Ottawa, a much smaller team physically totally outworked OS on Saturday. They actually forechecked, OS on the other is still trapping in a 10-0 game? Ask OS defensemen if they felt pressure against Ottawa or London. I bet the answer is yes.

Ooof we have hit a new low...Not that I or anyone should take much stock in the OHL power rankings but we have officially managed to work our way our of the top 16 in the league of 20... Niagara has even passed us which is saying something... I know these mean absolutely nothing and in the confrence we are still in 7th but it sure is a wake up call...atleast I hope anyway.

Pretty quiet up there, anything happening at practice for those of you who attend. I see a fan bus coming down to follow your boys on the trip, enjoy our city. Will you guys be staying in Kingdston overnight

Gonna be a tight rookie race for Rookie of the Year between Sam O’Rielly and Carter George. Right now, I have to give it George as goalies win the tiebreaker cuz elite goalies are becoming more rare in junior

Interesting read for sure. This road trip is crucial. Is this team actually any good, or have we all overestimated their potential? Easy to say you have the best 3 OAs and a deep roster etc. Full roster now, no excuses.

That was a bit of a different look for the Attack tonight. It looked like they played angry, little bit of snarl tonight. I thought they were effective on the forecheck and heavy on the body. Great effort and compete. Goure, Burroughs, Barlow and Petrovsky scored the goals, Attack top players delivering. That's hopefully something they can build off of.

you beat a high school team 4-1 with an empty net, but it was just what the doctor ordered. Cormier has been invisible for a month, i wonder if he was the next to be scratched. BS move scratching Rogers in what is the closest game to his hometown. Would have had tons of friends and family there. Also Stewarts' hometown and no start, as his traditional with most organizations. Oh well, see you guys in Kingston. Broadcast showed a few shots of your busload of fans, good job.
