I honestly think he’s a Stewart fan not a fronts fan I don’t see him posting on the fronts forum very often anymore but always on here.
He does make some good points though about if players are playing in their home town it’s the little things that matter like dressing a player for that game or starting them if they have family and friends in attendance. Sure the coach doesn’t have to do that but it sure makes him look like an a hole for not.
There no doubt is a connection, it wouldn't have gone on this long and we all wouldn't be saying the same thing if there was not. I highly doubt its a parent, but more so a billet parent or something like that (they have mentioned beng around the kingston room after games), he was also the first person to comment on trades and firings, probably coming directly from the player. Stewart is very good at what he does and probably would be a bit embarrassed by all the attention this has given him, but also just what he is, not more, not less. He has done nothing but represent both the Attack and Owen Sound well since coming to the organization.
With regards to home town players or traded players starting, I know that when Connor Roberts came back to Owen Sound for the first few times in Hamilton he didn't start, no special treatment, and I don't think anyone said a word, its not a big deal.
Uens first game back to Owen Sound this year after the trade and he did not start, Budnick and Burns did, and I don't think anyone cared. Its not the feel good league, its a bunch of teams trying to win games and make players better.
Why does it matter for you so much? Your name says "KTOWNFAN".... so how about just supporting Kingston and not call other organizations classless for trying to win a game that they need to win. I was a big fan of Stewy when he was in Kingston, but the coaches aren't classless if they start their best lineup for giving them a good start to a game.
We've all been asking the same thing. Its been about a year of the same thing, not enough opportunity, not respecting him. not this, not that. Funny thing is everyone says how awesome Jackson is and how great of a teammate he is.
