I'm pretty confident that's DD has atleast 1 maybe 2 more moves up his sleeve. This is a fairly different approach for Dale so I'm kinda intrigued to see where it ends up. I would of rathered to be in the top 5 in the conference when making the decision rather then 7th at the time but I'm glad we chose a direction and look forward to the final result. Win or lose I hope it makes it exciting.

I think Kitchener made it " possible" for teams to go all in anywhere in the standings and get some results.

What an ugly hockey game. I hope Votary gets some love tonight because he came up big a number of times tonight just to give them a chance. The team didn't really show up until about 15 minutes to play in the third period. They dominated from that point on but were largely MIA before that point.

McCue with another solid game. He looks like a fixture in the top 6 to me moving forward.

Tomorrow's game becomes a little more interesting with a look to the standings. Owen Sound now 6 points back of Guelph with a chance to bring it down to 4 tomorrow, and Owen Sound holds a game in hand. Should be a fun night at the Bayshore.

They didn't deserve to. Credit to Niagara for a strong game. They were the better team and really took it to the Attack at times. Some key saves from Votary kept the Attack in it and gave them a chance to win.
Sorry, I have to disagree.
( I was at the game)

The Attack started to turn the tables about the games halfway point .

When Corbin starts , the team needs 5 goals to win .

The boys held it together long enough to give themselves a chance to win.

Two new guys have yet to practice with the team and both played well in their new roles .

Sedley played most of the game with one bad arm, after taking a hit in the first.

Waddick scored an important tying goal .

Seds goal was a thing of beauty.

Ethan got mugged and slugged all game long .

Deni once again has a huge game .

Corbin made a game saver on a 2 on 0 breakaway.

Sometimes teams don't deserve to win and sometimes they don't deserve to lose.
But they do .

Our 3 OA's had goals tonight .

Corbin's win surely boosts his confidence.

The boys return with 4 big points and make progress forward .

This week is stressful for everyone. But they'll get thru it .

Let's enjoy the first 'Grey's' game .

I listened to Matt Hermiz pre game last night gotta do that more. In his talk with Coach he mentioned Sams hockey I.Q. He said Sam was asking him some very itelligent questions about our systems during the day.We also have to remember the new guys may have had a very light skate in Erie but thats it no real practice.
High hockey IQ and motivated to do what is needed to win is how I’d describe S.McCue. With enough reps, he will be a good OHL player imo.

Lucky to win. Votary kept you in the game many times. If this is a team "going for it", they better find a way to play better. Lucky to win last night and lucky to beat Erie the night before. You are getting physically punished every game and no response at all. I've never seen Barlow get hit so much. Sedley gets run last night. Better make some moves, because this is a one round and done team

London would be a poor draw for OS, imo no other team will want any part of a first round playoff series with the Attack

So I understand you correctly.... you are saying noone other than London would want to play you?

i can no longer play; and, I am not a fan or fanboy of one particular player
Not sure what that has to do with my question? So you are saying everyone other than London w2ould not want to play the Attack?

There's no designation in the standings : L2W= "lucky to win"

You either win or you don't.
Game over .
Time to move on

No Sedley tonight. Petrovski jumps up in his spot with Jordan and Ethier draws into the lineup. George in goal. Good test of the D depth tonight with a lot of minutes out. Should be a good game tonight at the Bayshore with the new adds making their home debuts.

Realize Guelph is a decent team and realize we were missing sedley and petrovski and on the end of a 3 in 3 but.. were still not good enough unfortunately.. hope Dale has another move or two up his sleeve. I'm sure I'll take some flak for the comment but our current state is not good enough..

And by no means is that a discredit to Guelph. They came in and played an excellent game and showed why they are slightly ahead of us in the standings in my opinion

I liked the effort a lot better tonight. It was a tight game and Guelph took the edge. I thought Petrovski handled the point on the PP adequately and didn't look out of place. Ethier looked good in his limited minutes.

If 8 points is "slightly", we could say Guelph is "slightly" out of first place in the West.
