I don't see that happening personally. They are down to 4 OAs entering the year so not really any immediate pressure to make a trade. I'm thinking they'll bring everyone in to camp and take their time. Depending on the OA market I could see it happening in October once teams have a little better idea of their needs.Do you see the Attack trading Lawrence before training camp?
I agree with Stellar unless Dale gets a serious offer that helps us I think everyone comes to camp and the 4 of them will make his decision for him. I know your not a fan of 25 and I get that but I look at the fact that with Covid and injuries he's missed 2 years eventually when players lose time off there development they often catch back up.I think with only 4 o3's they are smart to wait. If Kaleb has been working hard this summer he could be a beast that we want on our side not the opposition.Do you see the Attack trading Lawrence before training camp?
Old certainly fitsin with the 'new' Attack type player.I agree with Stellar unless Dale gets a serious offer that helps us I think everyone comes to camp and the 4 of them will make his decision for him. I think that is definitely part of the equation. They have made it clear they want to be bigger but I don't think that really works if you only have size in your bottom two forward lines. Lawrence and Hookey would project to be the only two forwards of size that have the ability to play top 6 roles currently. I think that's where training camp and exhibition play will sort out who sticks and who goes. Could be some surprises in camp that make it an easier decision. Mainly looking at the internal growth of returning players but an 07 like Addy with his mature frame could put himself in position to shake things up.He e

Stellar29 you nailed it for the reason I never get involved in making projected lines. I enjoy everyones thoughts but I find there are always surprises that mix it up. Add our top 3 draft picks and throw in a Letournau and Langdon if they did happen to show up plus any real surprises that we don't expect and suddenly our roster looks alot different than we think.I think that is definitely part of the equation. Hanover wins out on the neutral site game. I think that's a pretty solid choice.
Yes , great hireInteresting hire for the Attack as they have hired Matt Smith of Matt Smith Goaltending as their new goalie coach. He's spent time with Guelph and SSM as goalie coach and should be very familiar with the league. Looks like a really good get to me.

I've done a little homework on Matt Smith and if the info I've got is correct this is a very good hire. I'm in no way criticizing Red dog but sometimes change is good and IMHO this is one of those times. Feels like this will be it for a bit now too. The players expected to sign have now signed and the coaching vacancies have been filled. I'm not sure we'll have much to talk about news wise until camp rosters come out. It's been a slow summer without much news (and the only real news, Teddy Sawyer leaving to go to school, went without discussion), but great to see Smith signed, Matejicek signed, and Carter George starting the semifinals for the Hlinka team.
I said to my son when they scored that goal Carter will be pissed he will want that one back. I then said watch this his attitude in that case is you were lucky to get that one but thats all your getting.Carter George continues to impress. Weak first goal, then he shut them down.
I believe we are seeing CG morph into a big game goalie. The legend that is Carter George continues to grow, hopefully he can keep it up for the next few years
Millpond I believe we will see the best of Corbin Votary and he will be the starter thats the way the system is supposed to work and 20 teams dream of having a 19 yr old experienced goalie in the net. Having said that I expect Carter to push very hard for playing time. I really feel this puts the Attack in a great position of having a 1-2 punch that is possibly one of the top in the league.I believe we are seeing CG morph into a big game goalie.
We are in for an exciting season .
And let's not overlook Corbin, who played his best hockeyin the playoffs
Corbin made big strides, especially late in the season, in my opinion. He was playing with a lot more confidence and making the stops he's expected to make which in turn gave the team confidence. I think he's capable of being the guy next season though George will definitely push him for playing time.Millpond I believe we will see the best of Corbin Votary and he will be the starter thats the way the system is supposed to work and 20 teams dream of having a 19 yr old experienced goalie in the net.
