Two soft goals in each of the last two game was the difference in each game. Let the Kid have a chance.
Goaltending was certainly not the deciding factor in game 5, as it was the most lopsided game in the series to this point. It certainly was a big factor in games 3 and 4, however.
I would give Guzda a shot if I were Todd Gill. He looked great in relief.
Weather is awful, lots of snow today and freezing rain coming tomorrow. I imagine both teams are already here so the game will probably happen.

I am not sure about how you see hockey games. Do you have a hate for Vilalta and love Lafreniere? Vilalta was outstanding Friday and Lafreniere the opposite! Gill should definitely change up the goaltending.
I don't recall disagreeing with any of that. I was simply noting that the Greyhounds had a lot more quality scoring chances in game five, unlike the other games, which were more even.

They don't call it Grey County for nothing but weather has limited affect to games being played. OHL has set safety rules for travel and team safety to a minimum 3 hour window to announce cancellation notices from host cities or visiting clubs with game time being set for 7pm so 4pm will be announced if game is still being played or rescheduling date

Just cause teams maybe in city that hosting game dose not mean game will be go. Officials are expected to arrive gameday before start time recall last season the officials were an hour late due to weather conditions slowing them down so game was delayed until for nearly and hour before it actually started and officials arrived

If game is indeed a go tonight.
The game it will be the textbook must win leave it all on the ice for the boys can't sit back and wait for the Hounds to be ready, team has to have jump for the 1st puck drop and play solid defense and quick offense to keep the season alive.
This team has faced adversity all season long with injuries so there's no surprises in the dressing room to what they have to do tonight in game 6. We win we live to play another day we and if we lose will have enough time to predict what will happen to the team till September 2018.
As coach TG quoted "why not us"

Still too early to tell league rule involving weather states that a minimum 3 hour decision time
given that both teams are in OS, wouldn't the only reason for a postponement be because the officials aren't in town? Or does the league cancel games regardless if weather conditions aren't favorable for fans to attend?

Many factors add into canceling of games 4pm would be the cut off time for a 7pm start time of wether or not the game will be played to my understanding of the safety procedre teams being in town has really nothing to do with wether game is played or not but the safety of the paid attendance is a final decision and is based by individual teams contacting the league office and releasing a statement to fans via social network accounts.
I rememer last year Barrie was in Owen Sound for a January game and they postponed it because of road and weather conditions and they were snow bound in OS for 2 days and rescheduled the game regardless of where the visiting team is on the map
Thanks for all of your info. The Owen Sound fans were great on our recent bus trip. Very funny, a bit of teasing, etc. It was great to feel welcomed in spite of the rivalry.
