Some of the Soo's goals in Game 4 and again today have seemed on the soft side, but the bigger concern for me is the lack of timely saves. On Wednesday, we scored our first to cut the deficit to 2-1, but then the Hounds scored 4 mins later to go up 3-1. Then in the 3rd, Zippy got us to 3-2, but 2.5 mins later the Hounds go back up by 2. Tonight we get the first goal of the game, but Soo ties it less than a minute later. As soon as we get momentum, the Hounds come back with a goal. We're probably not scoring in bunches against the Soo, so we need saves to keep the momentum when we have it.

Let's hope we can get some momentum back with Guzda. The guy has 4 straight shutout periods of hockey that includes 2 wins and 1 SO. Yet he found himself sitting on the bench. This guy is more than capable. Here's hoping the boys rally around him.

You know, if the Hounds wanna start running goalies, Things could get interesting.
Looks like they're trying to get under Guzda's skin, knock him off his game. They weren't doing that against #34. Probably didn't feel the need to.

Very impressive job by the Hounds they owned the wall all night long and won just about every puck battle.

1 step forward 10 steps backwards once again this season is hanging on a very thin wire and no time to get back on the right track.

Good to see the young guys get there chances but have to say hats off to the Hounds they went big in the deal department and Attack didn't this season.

Peaceful Hounds fan here... looks like my work schedule will allow me to attend the game in Owen Sound on Sunday evening, but unfortunately looks like the game is already sold out.

I wanted to know if there was anyone here who might be able to sell me a ticket for the game if they can spare a seat? If so, please let me know so we can make arrangements for payment and for meeting up before the game.

Thanks for reading, and hopefully someone can help!

Well that sucked. Attack didn't even show up to play. #2 and 17 should have stayed on the bench, Puck give aways, they skate around freind like he is a pylon. The refing is aweful. Owen Sound always get Oakman and he is the worst in the league. Well I guess the season is over now as the last 2 games we sucked, I can't believe we can't play with out 21 in the first line.

There's a guy from Soo who wants your ticket for Sundays game. Read the post above yours.

#16 and #37 figure to be back next season, while Gadjovich signed his ELC back in the fall and will most certainly move on to the Canucks' farm system. They're going to have to find somebody who can play on that top line. Unfortunately nothing that has been tried has been very successful. Personally, I'd love to see Robinson have a shot, even for a period.

Well do or die Sunday. Looks like a sellout. I got my ticket.

I think some singles and sro left.

Good on coach for the tender change. Spark the troops and give Guzda a taste of the playoffs.

Any loss on the blue line will not be good for our chances.

Didn't watch the game so no real observations. Listened while working. PP was ineffective. Hounds won battles. Highlights didn't tell much.

Hope the buses make it here safe today.

All year long they have gone back to Ollie after he has been yanked. I agree that it is time for Guzda to take over.

Well who do you guys see getting the start for you guys on Sunday?
Leafsrdue is right, we always go back to Oli. A month ago in Barrie, we were up 5-3 going into the 3rd period. Oli was pulled after allowing 2 goals in the first 49 seconds in the third. Enter Guzda with the game tied, who shuts the door the rest of the way and we win in OT. Guzda gets the start the next game (home vs. Saginaw) and gets his first career SO. So that gave him 2 W's in about 4 periods of shutout hockey. Gill was quoted in our paper after the Saginaw game saying that Guzda would get the start the next day vs. Soo. Well, something happened very quickly, because #34 was back in net the next afternoon to start against your team. Guzda's next game action wasn't until last night. So, yeah, I would agree that we'll likely see Oli back in net for Game 6. The team has said that Oli is their guy. He has the capability to win games and he has played well for the most part these playoffs.

I don't think the Hounds liked playing against Guzda one bit. They couldn't solve him (although Raddysh, I believe it was, hit a post/crossbar). So they started running him as the 3rd period went on...even though they had a 2-goal lead. Not much class there, but I'll leave that topic to a certain CBC hockey commentator.

Shout-out for Cade Robinson for his play on the PP last night! He didn't record an assist on Lazer's PP goal, but his strong play in front of the net created the space for that goal to happen. He took 100% of Sandin's attention, which allowed Lazer the space to cut to the net when he got the puck down low.

Remind us of anyone?
