Post-Game Talk: Ovi and friends @ trotzenettes 7 pm CT

It really comes down to the Nashville hockey media. Poile set us up for a rebuild with a ton of assets. The direction was pretty clear. NoNeck came and just blew it all up. The local media gaslighted us into thinking everything was fine, and they are continuing to do that as I post this.
But even the media in those markets, despite the (sometimes enormous amounts of) noise, only have a limited amount of sway in effecting change. A Larry Brooks or similar, even a group of them, in Nashville still isn't going to cause significant pressure on a 2nd year GM that took over a transitioning team, regardless of the flop this season and off-season have been.

I actually came into realization watching that game, that I no more get any joy watching this team.

The future outlook is bleak (if not non-existent), the energy in the building is completely dead (understandably so), the team on the ice looks completely given up and overall, there's just nothing to get excited about anymore.

Yeah. That's exactly where we are. That's IMHO where the team has been since 2022. But this year takes the cake.

It isn't the losing. I can stomach losing. I want losing so we can draft top talent.

It's the continuous poor coaching decisions, giving up on talented prospects, zero accountability for veterans, propaganda media blaming the fans, poor in arena experience and increasing of prices that has eaten away at my loyalty as a fan.

I don't trust the current management to develop NHL talent. I don't trust the coach to nurture young players. I don't Trotz not to say one thing and do a completely different thing. I don't trust the event staff to actually make the arena experience worth going to compared to watching the games at home.

It's disheartening.

Not much to say other than it was cool to see a former WMU star get his first. With his speed and shot I was really surprised it took this long for him to get a chance in the show.

Something new for me, but I've not watched the last 2 games. I don't recall the last time I willingly watched something else for two consecutive games. I've said it many times, but this team is just not fun or enjoyable to watch. It's boring, frustrating, and downright stupid hockey.
