Beautiful goal. The time he had to make that play though shows why nhl coaches insist on players coming back hard with back pressure on a puck carrier. He had a lot of room and time to make that play and while short handed. The fun of junior hockey that gets coached out of the nhl.

But yet they still don't come back hard all the time, especially on the PP. This type of player makes plays they shouldn't at every level

I haven't watched enough of him to really feel confident in this comp but I find there is a bit of Kucherov to his game. I definitely don't see Mackinnon.

McDavid is the best skater in the game but I don't think McKenna far behind him. Like I said, he is only 17.

I like the Marner comp actually...Marner with a better scoring touch.

I was just about to say this. McDavid is straight line speed is unbeatable but McKenna is more shifty and deceptive with his skating.

McKenna can create space and separation with quick cut backs. You can see it on the highlight goal.

This kid looks amazing but I don't think there's any single skating thing that anyone in the world does better than McDavid.
