Saros gives up 3 goals on 15 shots. So now sitting at 2.77 (25th) and .905 (18th) with 9 wins, almost half of which have been shutouts crazily enough. A very average goalie.
NoNeck trading Askarov and signing Saros to a long term deal was when an educated hockey town would have been ready to dump him. He set us back 3-4 years on that move alone.

He should probably have 3 or 4 more wins but this teams offense is pathetic. There are 10 goalies with worse GAA thatbhave more wins then him. He hasnt been great and i hate his contract but if this team could score 3 goals on a normal night, wed actually probably be in the playoff hunt instead of in the sewer.

I mean, how many dipshit moves to Holland, Dubas, Bergevin, Burke, Drury, Sweeney, Treliving, Dorian, etc... make in "peak" hockey markets and how long did it take for them to be under any real pressure or get canned? Short of extreme controversy or a massive hit to the bottom line, a GM in ANY market is going to get quite a lot of leash regardless of what the fanbase thinks/does.

It really comes down to the Nashville hockey media. Poile set us up for a rebuild with a ton of assets. The direction was pretty clear. NoNeck came and just blew it all up. The local media gaslighted us into thinking everything was fine, and they are continuing to do that as I post this.
