Our GM and AGM valued Kasper very highly at the draft and they won't trade Cozens unless he return, Imo.

Yea, I believe any trade would begin with Kasper. Maybe tack on a 2nd or 3rd round pick and a veteran to help with the salary balance.

Im sure the Wings fans saying they dont want Cozens would have suggested similar trade proposals for Sam Reinhardt when he was fixing to depart Buffalo.
Cozens is big, he uses his size pretty well from what Ive seen and he drops the gloves on occasion. Inject some fun and a fresh, positive start into his game and I see him as, at least, a 50 point player. I would not be thrilled losing Kasper, but I think Yzerman is looking for someone who can take on 2nd line duties today rather than hoping one of our C prospects develop into that in a year or two.
