Frontenacs acquire Kingston's Very Own, Nolan Lalonde from Saginaw - Kingston Frontenacs

The Kingston Frontenacs have completed a trade with the Saginaw Spirit acquiring the rights to Kingston born goaltender, Nolan Lalonde. Lalonde is a 6’1”, left-handed catching goaltender that was drafted out of the Greater Kingston AAA system by the Erie Otters in 2020.

I don’t know if they’d trade within their own division but Brantford needs a goalie for sure. 0 chance they run with egorov as the starter this year

I think if he is traded it will be in the preseason. I think the Petes will want to make sure Zach Bowen is able to be the starting goaltender before they trade him. London may need an upgrade on Owen Willmore and Sudbury needs help in goal but I am not sure they have room for an overage. Brantford could also be an option. I am not sure what the return will be maybe a 3rd and 5th.

Though they could trade 1-2 of their 3-4 potential OA forwards, then add an OA defenceman or goalie; I think the bulldogs should make a pick offer for Leenders that no other team would match.

Then the steelheads with two open OA spots could acquire one of a half-dozen OA goalies pretty cheap for 30 solid starts.

The list is now updated with all the trades from today. A few more players were taken off:

Simon Slavicek (Flint) and Jakub Vondras (Sudbury) were scratched from the list after they both signed contracts in the second tier Czech pro league for the 24-25 season

Devin Mauro (Sudbury) will be playing in the OJHL with Trenton, Lucas Signoretti (Sudbury) will be playing in the NOJHL with the Greater Sudbury Cubs, and Connor Toms (Windsor) is headed to Carleton University
