I strongly doubt that is true anymore. The majority of hockey fans are fans of Ovechkin and think he's unreal, Twitter is not a real place

He doesnt play D or do anything else other than wait for PP opportunities. Makes its easy to avoid injuries.
"SOG Opportunities"?? That's one I haven't heard from you (other than complaining that he takes TOO many shots)
Ovechkin:
a) Has one of the most dangerous shots in NHL history (from essentially anywhere within the blue-line)
b) Is one of the best players in NHL history at generating shots
Which is an irrelevant statistic when speaking about scoring goals or the greatest goal scorer of all time.OV tied with Jagr 27th all time in ppg.
Crosby 7th. McDavid 4th.

So they should retire now to preserve their high placement in ppgAlso irrelevant as it will drop for both Crosby and McDavid as they get older and production slows down, just like it does for every player ever.
Yep. Just like Bossy. So they should retire now to preserve their high placement in ppg
might as well get to 900... I mean 1000.scores 893 and quits to coach his sons
I believe Ovie is first all time in goals per game for players who have played at least 1,000 games. (.61 gpg) Gretzky is second with .60 gpg.
OV will drop even furtherAlso irrelevant as it will drop for both Crosby and McDavid as they get older and production slows down, just like it does for every player ever.
including OV .....He is tied with Jagr now in ppg at 27th. But as you pointed out will drop behind the great 68 soon enough. Also irrelevant as it will drop for both Crosby and McDavid as they get older and production slows down, just like it does for every player ever.
Plus a pane of glass earlier in the game.768.
