It's fine if you own less than 30% of a team. The thing is you get the usual corporate bullshit to get around it.
BCE Inc. own 18% of the Habs.
BCE Inc. own 28% of the Leafs.
BCE Master Trust Fund own 9.5% of the Leafs.
So BCE own 37.5% of the Leafs... But not on paper.

Agreed. Up an coming team. If things don't work out and Ruff either steps down or is canned, Green could step in and coach this young team full of promise.
Toronto would be the second place I'd go to as they are in a win-now mode even though they never win now. And Calgary is spinning their wheels.
