Apparently, the Desmarais family already has an agreement to buy Andlauer's part of the Habs, so financially we don't come out any weaker. Quite the opposite in fact, they're very loaded.
I actually heard Desmarais was part of the Andlauer group but that was 6-7 months ago so it could have change

Jacques Tanguay and Patrick Roy are officially quitting the Remparts

2 huge contributor for the success of the QMJHL, huge respect for both men
Wonder if that's because they're moving to Ottawa. Andlauer has major ties to Montreal so wouldn't be surprised to see Roy go there.

The word around here at least is that Steve Staios and Claude Julien are heavily linked to Andlauner. Plus every former sens there could get on board, Alfie, Phillips , Redden( he's already working for them in some capacity), etc. There's quite a few old wounds that need to be cared for with the former players and the fan base, he'd be smart to do it.

Mathieu Darche have a good relationship with Andlauer. Rumour where that Andlauer push for Darche last year in our GM search

Yes it was maybe Kimmel

I'm sure they are fine with the Habs part !

You sure? Feels like this is the first piece getting out of this crumbling empire. :sarcasm:

Meh, let him go play golf somewhere and give 5 minutes a week on Skype to whichever sport channel will pay him the most. Take life easy.

Can't be easy though, living such highs in your life. Must be even more difficult for superstars who've won it all. That's why they stay close to the game as much as possible. They mostly all become owners and/or coachs.

Yeah, Molson gaining another 25% of the share is definitely the right move for them. Don’t see why he’d need someone’s else money in his position.
