KK on pace for his 12 mins again tonight. And I didn’t see him take a shift the last 10 minutes. Canes are incredible and he can’t keep up, he is their 10th-11th best forward.

Interested to see how this plays out. Good on him for getting paid and out of MTL but hard to see how this helps his dev curve.

He got sent off against the Rangers for embellishment and the Rangers scored and turned the game around.
Yep, often watching Ottawa since they tend to play when our Habs aren't and because they're young and entertaining. While I do appreciate his talent, the guy flops too often and I don't really like that.

Sens have a much better prospect collection vs NYR - even without two 1OA picks

I like KK and always defended him in his thread and while I don’t wish the kid anything bad, I don’t have to root for him either.

Leafs losing and KK pointless is fine by me.

I like how leaf fans on the main board were saying that Hyman and Andersen were easily replaceable. One poster even told me it would be easy to outperform Freddy. Honestly, the leafs really started to chip away at bedrock when they let those two go. I love it.

The 5 hole is starting to show on Campbell. Meanwhile Freddy will be much better with the Canes D game. The Leafs level of frustration is palpable. :D

Same, liked him here but can’t say I’d be surprised or disappointed if the experiment in Carolina failed. He just doesn’t fit and he is delusional if he looked at that lineup and saw himself in the top 6.

KK and MB now have something in common....both are in over their heads...
lol
The Canes have a real good team....and we had guys on here, say they would not make the playoffs, and could possibly even give us a lottery pick....lol

All it takes is a freak injury to a core component on ANY team in today’s parity NHL

Say Aho gets injured..

Will be interesting to see how Anderson holds up.
Looks great but when the games get tight he tends to flail. Team might score enough it doesn’t matter!

Maybe he played a lot of soccer as well, that could explain it? :)

The Canes obviously don’t give a flying ****. He will end up in his proper chair on that team. A long term contract at a reasonable rate will offset the front load. The question is will he be better than the late 1st rounder they had to give up and they obviously think so.

3 worse teams in Atlantic are the Canadian teams: Toronto, Ottawa & Montreal.

Pacific has 5 playoff teams so far, when most predicted they'd have 3, while no surprise Metro has 5.

Florida, Buffalo and Detroit are the playoff teams from the Atlantic. Lol

I'll guess TB & Boston will overtake Buffalo and Detroit eventually.

Not even 10 games in yet ....

Why would you assume that a guy playing 12 mins a night, out of position, that requires a 6mm QO will sign a long term contract at a reasonable rate? If he was playing those minutes here would you be so sure he was a lock to sign long term? I can see neither party being interested in that.

And thats not how the math works on this.
He needs to be better then the first, the third AND the opportunity cost represented by 6mm in cap space. Only 4 games in but they are struggling to find minutes for him. They have 10 better forwards.
