I'm not ready to throw the towel in on him.

But MB pretty much said in the presser announcing he wouldn't match, that they have their doubts about how much more KK would develop. Given they're working with him every day, that is concerning.

I wouldn't either,he's still just a kid, but that contract:speechles

The Leafs are a quiet building even when it's sold out. They may not have sold out the arena, but the building was still almost full. Their home openers are always quiet.

Tickets are just so expensive here which makes it hard to take a family (let's just say a family of 4) to a game when you factor in all the other expenses like parking, food and maybe a trip to the gift shop. I get this is tough for families in all cities, but crap is expensive here in the GTA, especially when the Leafs play an original 6 or other big market team.

agree. going to a raptors game is a way way better way to spend the money in my opinion.
I actually think they one of the better managed teams in all north American sports.

Yeah, especially now that they are rebuilding, tickets on the marketplace have been a little cheaper in my opinion. Nosebleeds are being sold under face value when I check on Facebook.

This is why I predicted the Habs would have a better chance at being bottom 10 then being in the play-offs. We have 3 games played and we are already multiple games back of everyone in the division.

Toronto has way too much corporate money. There are positive sides, the hospitals have new equipment with "donated by company x" on everything down to the railings and sinks that look really good compared to the smaller quantities and older items in a lot of Montreal hospitals. The negative side is that lots of companies can buy a lot of tickets and boxes in case they need them for a client and, even if they use them, they don't make a lot of noise. The guys who make noise are pushed way back...

It's going to be a tough division. The conference will be even tougher. We wont get in by finishing as a weak 4th because a couple of teams had bad seasons like last year. If we are a weak 4th then five teams from the metropolitan will likely beat us. We will need to be either top 3 in the division or a strong 4th with close to a 100 points. I think we will need a pace of 97 points minimum to make it this year.

TB will not be as good with Kucherov out and their entire 3rd line lost this summer. Boston is getting older. But both Ottawa and Detroit wont be free points this year like they used to be. Seider is very good and Leddy is a legit top 3. They have an okay duo of goalies. Ottawa got lot of young depth. They will both miss the playoffs but they will be hard to play against. Florida will likely replace TB with both Verhaeghe and Weegar looking like the real deal. Depth was their problem but it's not a problem anymore. If Bobrov can find his game again they will be super tough to beat. For now i'd even put Florida as a potential cup contender they have a very good team.

Don't think Buffalo will be better than habs but yeah indeed , Detroit even got better

No I don't expect we will remain at the bottom of the division, but we've already spotted points to everyone in our division and Tampa, Boston, Florida, Toronto were always going to be ahead of us. Now you've given Ottawa a head-start and even let Detroit get the jump on you.
