Toronto has way too much corporate money. There are positive sides, the hospitals have new equipment with "donated by company x" on everything down to the railings and sinks that look really good compared to the smaller quantities and older items in a lot of Montreal hospitals. The negative side is that lots of companies can buy a lot of tickets and boxes in case they need them for a client and, even if they use them, they don't make a lot of noise. The guys who make noise are pushed way back...
Very true but both raptors and blue Jays have a very vocal fan base … I just think it’s the leafs fan base and their despair ….. but I am habs fan , so obvious I think like that hahahah

Well it's a sort of special culture, too. Everyone pretty much knows they are going to lose in painful and depressing fashion but everyone also has plans for an eventual parade. I hope we don't get to that point in another 20 years, but then Molson isn't Ballard, he's not great but he's not intentionally and obviously trashing the team.

Tickets are just so expensive here which makes it hard to take a family (let's just say a family of 4) to a game when you factor in all the other expenses like parking, food and maybe a trip to the gift shop. I get this is tough for families in all cities, but crap is expensive here in the GTA, especially when the Leafs play an original 6 or other big market team.
You're looking at over a grand, easily.

Unless it's for a at home game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, hockey games aren't worth it. I find the overall entertainment value to be below average and the price way over what it should actually be.

Even watching on tv is boring, teams have a very tough time scoring goals and much of the time on the clock is wasted by neutral zone warfare and dump and chase. There are many nights when it is very hard to watch.

Tells you something about his character. All he needs to say is no, of course not, would have been happy to play there.

The team drafted him third, played him lots of minutes as a young player, a role that was good enough for the Canes to overpay him. And he is butthurt about sitting out some playoff games?

waaaaaa, what a baby

Asked to comment about his positive test result, Scheifele says
"I don’t agree with it. I think it was pretty excessive. I wasn't expecting that. I was pretty shocked."

just kidding. Get well soon Mark.
