So what do we think the penalties might be for those involved?
Hard to predict, there's not a ton of precedent to base it on. I can't imagine it being less than a full year ban, image wise anything under that will be a very bad look. Depending on the gravity, a lifetime ban isn't out of the question though. Whatever happens, these players are going to have a real hard time finding a spot in the NHL ever again.

That's correct, but it took some time for those teams to get to the place they are now. I remember Buffalo, Detroit and Ottawa being bad for a long time.
I definitely hoped that we could clear out some more of the veteran slugs this year and it feels like things are a bit stagnant right now, but the Habs have gone through a genuinely massive series of changes in an incredibly short time when you zoom out a little bit. The Habs made the cup final in 20-21, and have since turned over the front office and coaching staff, and finished 32nd and 28th in the league during a rebuild that we seem to be all hoping will be over after the upcoming season.

In 2021, Detroit missed the playoffs for the 5th year in a row as part of a rebuild that's still not over 2 years later (they're not gonna make it this year either so call it a minimum of 8 years most likely). Ottawa similar, 20-21 was their 4th year missing the playoffs, they missed the playoffs the next 2 years and still don't have an obvious path to a playoff spot this year. Buffalo hasn't made the playoffs in 12 seasons now, and they've been taking for so long that after 20-21 they decided to sell off the proceeds from their last rebuild (Eichel, Ristolainen, Reinhart) to get pieces for their current rebuild, and they still don't have an obvious playoff spot locked up either. The crazy part is we're not really all that far behind Ottawa and Detroit, we just have more dead weight that needs another year to clear.

We suppose to have "too many players" to bring in new guys or keep guys(Richard,, Belzille) and yet Carolina are signing the whole planet.
Carolina is a model franchise and run with awareness that time is a more precious resource than “cap flexibility”.

Not sure why you’re hung up on Anthony Richard and Belzile, they wanted more playing time than MSL felt comfortable committing.

In your head
Dubois:"When I learned that Los Angeles were interested, it became an easy decision for me".

Have fun with the homeless people on your lawn, bro.

It seems like every good "gars de chez nous" is dreaming to play everywhere but here... They always use us, and throw us in the garbage, at the end, I feel like a used condom. :help:

Not even the rich are spared from the garbage policies of California, they have completely lost their minds out there.

A model franchise that has won nothing.

K'Andre deal is amazing for the Rangers. He should hit payday if he can keep up at 40-50pts.
