No one cares
No recollection...I crashed head first into the treadmill. I had zero issues cholesterol wise, arteries were clear but I was doing a workout we use to do when I was in the military and evidently I got my heart up so high that the electrical impulses got out of whack and somehow one of the valves in my heart malfunctioned. I woke up in ICU 3 days later. Once I came to the Cardiologist says to me..."welcome to the 5% club"...I asked what he meant...he said only 5 % survive what happened to me. Ironically in a room next to mine there was a guy who was still unconscious (later died) from the same issue. I have had no issues since but of course it is always in the back of my mind.
Thanks for sharing that. who the F is Aliaksei Protas?

.3-.4 PPG in first three seasons, suddenly PPG?

oh and he's a 6'6 monster apparently?? :amazed:
He has always been a good prospect. Had success in the WHL and AHL. He's a big guy and big guys usually take more time. Not surprised by his and McMicheal's succes. Also Sandin for a 1st round pick what a bad trade for Toronto. Caps have a couple of good kids they have been drafting well. A good example of you should try to not trade to many picks to win.

There's no guarantee he even finishes the year with more than 45 points despite his hot start. Strome isn't going to be a 100+ point guy either, Caps aren't that bad but definitely going to fall about to earth a bit. Pretty odd to have him as the ideal player to go after IMO.
He’s got a pretty steady development and performance so far as a hockey player.

We could only dream to have a 6’6” 230 lbs forward with skills.

He's living proof the Habs need to give us the joy of a Stanley Cup before it's too fkn late!

Cheers @Tyson

It's insane to me that a relationship between a blue-chip prospect and his team has soured so quickly. I guess there is also Gauthier from the same draft...
It’s happening much more with draft picks over last 3-years: add McGroarty to the mix

That comment about Gauthier made me look at how he was doing this season with Anaheim, and while I was looking, I saw Zegras with 4 pts in 17 games...??? My god, did we dodge a bullet there?

nostrils off to Germany to see a doctor.
figs fans wetting and TSN has a crew in Germany when he lands
No doctor for Matthews in the US/Canada?

Nothing brings confidence like a bunch of reporters saying "No, no don't look too much into it, he just going there because he trusts that clinic a lot".

TSN and SN don't want a panic. but going to see a doctor overseas is not for a minor deal.

Maffews is probably just getting some dubious therapeutic that isn’t “approved” over here yet. “Deez mineral-rich blood injection vill has you goink bar down in no time. Zee neanderthals practiced zee same messods before gettink shutdown by mainstream homo zapiens”

The more this carries on the more it feels like the next level of the 2016 Price fiasco. Day-to-day, week-to-week…

Yup - one would assume there’s no need to visit a Dr in Germany for a minor injury…

It's either something Germany is leading on in term of treatments or they are scared something would leak.

The weirdest part thought is that the guy flew to Germany for another opinion on his problem, but they are expecting him to be back in the line-up next week.

Apparently Matthews is a patient of this German Dr’s in the past, which is why he & the Make Beliefs Team Dr went over for the visit

There is a rumor out there that Jim Montgomery has been fired and replaced by Joe Sacco. Nothing yet from the insiders and the Bruins. Let's see how it goes.

Hughes better get on the phone with Montgomery's people if that's the case.

I expect a struggling team to fire their coach so they can secure Montgomery. He won't be out of a job for too long.
