It's an interesting matchup. I'll be supporting Winnipeg but think Colorado will take it.
BTW -Monahan has as many goals with the Jets now that he had for the entire year with Montreal. That's not meant to show that he was bad in Montreal (because he wasnt), but rather how he's fit in seamlessly in the peg.

I hope Monahan crushes it. I’m rooting for the Jets. Colorado is the favourite but Jets can win with Hellebuyck.
Don't need to have a better goaltender, a good defense is far more impactful.

There were so many Jets fans complaining at the time of the trade. It was pretty clear they didn’t know what kind of player they were getting for a good price tag. All he had to do was stay healthy and he has.
Monahan was flying under everyone's radar. The doofuses on vancouver radio were pretty much dismissing him as a 3C.
I mean, there are reasons to steer away, but they hit the wrong notes. The issue with Monahan is his health, but when healthy he is a pretty good player.
I hope they like Lindholm now.

The Americans have guys like hellebyuck, demko and oettinger. They are so far ahead of Canada in goal now.

Nazar signed his ELC with Chicago. He will be in their line-up today.

I was a massive Nazar fan, it was really unfortunate he lost a whole year of crucial development last year.
