You know, that's true. The nonchalant bump/interference by Maroon on Kulak to create the opportunity was a nice touch, though.

I was a bit surprised they didn't score with 4 minutes of power play time. Montreal earned that win.

I'd say it was pretty even. Tampa had better scoring chances but MTL was preventing them from getting any sustained time in the O zone. MTL is playing hard, and breaking up neutral zone transitions well so far. Price looks dialed in as well.

Just another depth piece for them that outperforms every other depth piece for the team they're playing against. He's exactly why people expecting Tampa to take a step backwards next season will be wrong.

I've certainly read around the interwebs not just here about how Canes fans expect them to regress so we should stay the course and do our own thing. But realistically they're going to be a thorn in our side for most if not all of Aho/TT/Slavin/Pesce/etc window.
