Screw attendance watching, the games are crazy expensive, the arena is boring and was even boring 15 years ago, it’s far, people are busy and TV a sports coverage is incredible, the World Series is on.

Let’s stop beating ourselves up over attendance. Micheal Andlauer owns an NHL hockey team, if he wants more, Go back to Montreal and ask those people for it we owe you nothing, ask the sick people you serve to buy more medical equipment

It's his first year really running this team as his, with last year as a total disaster. So there's bound to be a lag in consumer spending until we can trust that it isn't more of the same from the past 7 years. Not to mention, World Jr packages are in direct competition with discretionary spending on tickets (he receives revenue from both mind you).

But at a certain point, when the team is successful, and it is appearing to trend that way, we will have to reciprocate with higher ticket sales.

About last night, I want to point out that St. Louis looked like a minor league team on the road who started their backup. Nice to dominate a game, but not indicative of where we are at.

Broberg has been an early bright spot for them. Only player (other than an injured Kapanen who played less than 7 minutes) to finish without a minus rating for the night. Also picked up an assist.

Robert Thomas is injured and is by far their best player.

Buchnevich is a pretty good 2-way player, Kyrou is a mini offensive dynamo. Neighbors is young and has shown he can score goals. They just stole Holloway and Broberg who both have upside. Perunovich should also be good. Joel Hofer has shown some good stuff so far in the NHL, it wasn't his best game last night but he was also left out to dry.

They have some solid vets like Schenn, Parayko, Saad, Faulk, Joseph, Binnington.

They also have some pretty good prospects in Jimmy Snuggerud, Dalibor Dvorsky, Adam Jiricek, Otto Stenberg, Theo Lindstein and Zachary Bolduc

They just had a bad game while we played a pretty good game

We have never sold out a full season. came close a few times but we won't until the move downtown. Even then we might not, and thats ok. Attendance is slowly improving which is nice to see.

It's good to see a win and avoid that 3 game losing streak that's very common for this Team

Running up the scoreboard is all good and dandy against a checked out Team. I would really like to see this Team actually win tight games against Teams like Vegas especially when leading twice in the game.
This Team needs to learn to lock it down and not give up those dreaded goals at the worst possible times! And if you still manage to lose a game like that, then I would expect them to come out with fire in the next game and win that (The Colorado game)

Who we would want doesn't matter. We're stuck with Trail Mix. But would we want Brannstrom on the roster for the amount we would have had to pay him to retain him? 100% The Blues are a better team than the score last night would indicate. They were overwhelmed by Ottawa's ferocity in the first two periods but they came out mad in the 3rd and flexed their mettle. Kyrou showed some physicality that I didn't know he had. Texier also impressed me with his playmaking. They are not a bad team which makes the beat down even more impressive.
