De Jong is likely going to Vancouver.. We also traded Paulo Junior to Ft Lauderdale for Gentile.. Not a great trade imo.

I knew we'd be a lower half spending sort of team with ownership focused on the Redblacks, but man I'd have thought we could have done a bit better than places like Ft. Lauderdale in terms of player retention...

Part of the issue is the success Ottawa has last year many teams came and made massive offers for our key players.

Good to get some new blood, but looking at the article his goal scoring seems to be on a downward trend (with Sacramento) which is not what I want to see. Could be any number of reasons but I hope he works out as the team needs someone badly.

My favorite Fury player is Jonny Steele.

That goal he scored against the Whitecaps will be remembered for a long time.

No Fury on Rogers TV? Anywhere else to watch it? Don't see it listed on the NASL website either.

Looks like it's on BEin Sports (which I don't get...bit pricey).

It eventually came onto Rogers TV after the little league baseball game.

Woohoo, first win of the fall season. 2-0 Fury.

About bloody time,Also 2 of the new players never were used, Gentile was on the bench and not used, Dixon was there but not even listed as a sub, (maybe his clearance did'nt come through in time), Williams came on late in game for Olivera played 18 mins, Stewart and Tissot played the whole game, did'nt really notice Stewart apart from his goal.

Nice to see Tom Heinemann back in Ottawa. Got lots of hugs from the Fury players (the ones left from last year, at least).

I was surprised to see Freddy Adu on the Tampa Bay squad. I guess I don't follow NASL as closely as I should. That's certainly a name from the past; I remember when he was the future of US soccer.

Too bad about the football lines. I thought 24 hours was enough to change from soccer to CFL on the turf.

Hope you also recognize Joe Cole on that field. Incredible to have such a talent in the NASL.

For those who don't know..this is who was playing for Tampa Bay in tonight's game:

Yes, for sure, I definitely knew about him! :) Freddy was the one that surprised me.

It is nice with the NASL that you do get to see some big names, like Cole this year and Raul last year. I doubt that would be the case if Ottawa ever jumped to the rumoured Canadian league. Ideally you want to see both young guys on their way up, and older names on their way down.

Nice to see some Canadian content in that video....in the form of Owen Hargreaves!

Fury lose 1-0 to Indy who scored in the last minute after the Fury fell a sleep in defending a free kick.
