Lets not get carried away.
What a game, what a season.
I hate to over-analyze, especially now that the emotions have subsided and I can just appreciate the year for what it was, buuuut that substitution in of Gagnon-Lapare has to be up there as one of the worst of the season...He was totally ineffective and arguably hurt us bad, first on the 2-1 go ahead goal, but then booting another good chance to the moon... Really too bad and I had high hopes with him coming to the team straight from MLS.
Anyways no more tears shed, can't wait for next year and for the love of god re-sign Heinemann and Wiedeman...
ALSO..HUGE shoutout to the reported 400+ Fury fans who drove/bused/flew down and packed the away supporters section. That is incredible support that not even the Sens can rival. Used to be we worried we might not get that many for a home game..
The Sun confirmed the retired Scottish forward and former Real Salt Lake (Major League Soccer) assistant coach will be named to the post during a press conference on Friday at TD Place.
The next coach of the Ottawa Fury will be Paul Dalglish.

Son of Liverpool great Kenny Dalglish. Journeyman career that spanned 10+ years, spent time with Newcastle, Norwich City and Blackpool in England. Played for lots of other teams as well. Won an MLS Cup with Houston in 2006.
As a coach, was an assistant with Real Salt Lake in 2014, and coached the Austin Aztex of the USL this past season.
"Lucrative deal" worth $150k per year?
I believe The Fury have 5 players signed for next year
Peisar, Falvey, Richter, Ryan and Trafford.
Heinneman has gone, Alves has basically said goodbye, who will be back.
Dalglish has got a large recruiting job to do.
