Wow, that's it? That stinks.

I guess as said above, the lower leagues are a turnstile.

At one time players would go to Mls or higher now there going to other lower league teams.

Not bad for North American pro soccer. A lot of decent MLS guys don't even make that much.

Very true. I can't believe he just up and left though, must be tired of the winter.

But I'm sorta glad that we will get a new type of striker, at least we hope.

I find soccer in general is more of a turnstile than other sports just for the reason that the global pool of pro players is just so massive. Why get locked into a potentially bad contract when someone just as good (or maybe marginally worse) is out there looking for a break?

So we have 9 players signed, defence is all back, but only Haworth and Oliver for forwards.

No new signings yet but Fury FC have exercised the contract options on four players including goalkeeper Marcel DeBellis; NASL Best XI defender Rafael Alves; and forwards Carl Haworth and Paulo Junior. The club has also re-signed midfielder Brandon Poltronieri. Good to see Alves back

Drew Beckie, Andrew Wiedeman, Tom Heinemann, Ugur Albayrak, Oliver, Nicki Paterson and Aly Alberto Hassan will not be returning as they are either out of contract or did not have their options picked up.

So much for keeping the core together eh. This is a bad look any way you slice it.

Would the RedBlacks let Campbell walk, Burris and Kanneh go to another team, in the immediate aftermath of a Year-2 Grey Cup final appearance?

This is awful for the casual fan (ie guys like me). Just as Fury was really getting traction, they lose their biggest fan favourites and recognizable names in Ryan, Tommy and Ubi on top of Dos Santos. Jeez.

It's not all that surprising that the Fury are letting players walk.

One of the lowest budgets in the league, and then add on the sinking dollar.

It sucks, but it isn't a real surprise.

If they are transfer requests then surely the Fury will be getting something back in return, Richter and Ryan were definately signed for next year, so hopefully the Fury are not just letting them go for nothing.

Tampa over paid for Tom $150,000 no other team was willing to pay that much.
