Yes their last game was the most interesting I've seen this year. We barely came out on top but could have gone either way. Hopefully we get another good one.

I think Cameron is going to have to sit some players to cut down on the penalties. He needs to set an example. We do not have the defence to so many penalties.

Does anyone know how long Beck and Belanger are out for

This should be the weekend from hell but not playing the Soo makes it a little better. Still going to be a test.

It was said that Beck is banged up but not long term from what I understand. Hopefully we see him this we as likely Johnston is gone 2 games. As for Belanger he had a fractured hand and surgery at end of training camp. Based on my experience with such he should be practising soon and he should be back in early december I'm guessing.

As for penalties I agree with you Beast. We likely have 2-3 more wins with better discipline. I don't want to critisize Cameron too much as he's done a splendid job. However when asked about penalties on tsn 1200 he seems to downplay them as he's willing to accept some penalties with good effort etc... Not sure that's the message you want to send to the players. Yes he might be saying different behind closed doors but the fact is we are taking too many penalties and he needs to sit a guy (Johnston comes to kind) to make a point.

Penalties because you are trying too hard is one thing. Slashing and slew foot are another.

Johnston is definitely going to get the message with the 2 game suspension and also I am sure he will be told that he has to be careful as refs are going to start watching him.

From HM to #8.

Probably doesn't mean a lot (big picture) for this season because of how young this team is... But for sure lookout next season!

Another tough 3 in 4 weekend for the poles. North Bay particularly looks very good. Hopefully we see Beck back. I'd be happy with 3 out of three.

67s did not generate many good scoring opportunities tonight. You can see that size is going to be an issue as we move forward. I think someone should of at least stepped up when Gill-Shane got crushed, legal or not.

Hopefully they can reset and come up with a win tomorrow.

The 67s are coming down to earth and playing more within their capabilities. North Bay has like 5 pretty decent 19 yr olds and 1 20 yr old. With their experience I can see them competing for top spot.

I predict we will come in somewhere around 4-6th place in the east. The kids will gain valuable experience though from this season.
