Zetterlund's value being a 2nd and Ostapchuk is surprising to me. I thought Grier could've gotten more but I guess Zetterlund didn't want to commit long term. Oh well, the Walman trade softens the blow.

Ostapchuk is young, only 21. He's a solid 3rd liner with tons of grit. Gregor has speed and kill penalties, It's a good depth piece. 2nd rounder in 2025 has value.

Sens got a pending RFA 50pt guy that can score 5on5 + a 4th rounder. Robbins is an AHLer throw in.

Grier tinkering with future cap space, they must be targeting a future FA otherwise none of these trades make sense right now

I saw Zetterlund and was pumped! The price hurts a bit because I'm one of the few that actually likes Gregor while also being a big fan of Ostapchuk, but I think Zetterlund will help give us the shot in the arm offensively we really need. Happy to have him!

Ostapchuk has potential to be a 3rd liner. He is nowhere near that this season though. He's a call up on the Sens.

Ostapchuk is a good player, not as skilled as Zetterlund, but a high energy and gritty player. He's been in and out of the lineup in Ottawa but will probably be a constant fixture in San Jose and will be all the better for it.
I doubt he is as high energy and gritty as Zetterlund though? This is a horrible trade for the Sharks.

Interesting, I quite liked Robins at the draft. Haven’t followed him since.

Good character guy but he's strictly an AHL guy. He's not skilled enough to be be effective in the NHL at his size. W trade for Ottawa though.

Grier giveth, Grier taketh away. I don't understand the logic here other than Ostapchuk is big boi.

I'm pretty sure if Grier could clone a young version of himself, he'd fill the roster with himself.
