Had Brown kept his feet moving the play would've kept going up ice.
Perhaps understanding what direct means might help you.

Then help DS conjure up some more forwards then.
I wouldn't mind seeing Dowd center the 4th line. He is a decent PK-er and way better on faceoffs then Weal/Andreoff.Apparently we are the only two that understand that.
Sutter should have given DL the middle finger by playing Forbort at 4th line center.
Dowd I think is really the only forward the Kings can bring up that could play a regular NHL shift. Everyone else down in Ontario, is not ready.
In case you missed it. I actually suggest they bring up Nic Dowd yesterday or was day before either way if it was up to me We would have had 13 forwards to choose from.
#preachingtochoir
You mean it doesn't have something to do with that Dowd is nowhere near ready? You need to have a chat with DL.
Shore and Mersch had 1 shift in the 3rd...punished? how? they both played. mersch was given special teams for his 3rd nhl game and had shifts with kopi and carter... that's punishment?
You could argue that Weal is not NHL caliber as well(atm). So the Kings are really short on the forward front.

How has Weal looked by the way? He was a beast here in Regina playing with Eberle and carried the team hard the 2 years afterwards as well.

Fantastic in the AHL obviously, but struggling in transition to define his game as another poster said; he doesn't seem to be a fit so far even though the raw skills seem to be around. He'll probably be on another NHL team by the end of the year because it's doubtful he gets the playing time here to develop as we're a contending team...bummer because he's super likeable but just doesn't seem to mesh with the Kings.
Dang that sucks, I'd love for Ottawa to try and make a move for him but I know it'd be in vain since we'd rather play plugs at forward over young skilled guys. Didn't watch the Kings broadcast so I don't know if they mentioned it, but Cameron has Borowiecki (Career 6/7th Dman who hasn't played forward since he was 15) playing forward over an actual forward who was an AHL all-star last year (Shane Prince) lol
Did they have to amputate King's foot? I didn't know it took this long recover from that injury. He must be getting setbacks.

Thanks for the English lesson! My vocabulary has now expanded as a direct result of your work. How'd I do there?
