Conservative will not work against Detroit. I've watch the 49ers all year long and they have to be the worst team for giving up third and long.
They miss DeMeco Ryans terribly.

football really is blackjack. It seems like playoff teams, as good as they are, can't just turn it on and really need to be peaking early.
Look what KC has just done the last 3 weeks.
I thought SF would win, and they still might - but they looked shit vs Green bay and didn't deserve to win while Detroit is really swimming in momentum from last week.

the Alouettes are another great example of this

I remember Mike Johnstown’s first night. He was so green. It took him a while but he’s become one of the best out there.

So there’s hope for Gronk too.

I watched them all year and they have obvious weaknesses. Their first losing streak was started by a missed game winning field goal in Cleveland.
Three game slide. They came back flying off their bye week but then that loss to Baltimore affected them. I was worried about last week and extremely worried about this week.

Although i suspect if you told detroit before kickoff, tie game in 4th quarter, they'd take it
