It's shocking. Steelers have some of the most iconic uniforms in sports. I wouldn't let anyone copy the likeness let alone a college team.

Iowa was flat out awful for a long time. If I remember correctly Hayden Fry went to the Steelers and asked them if the Hawkeyes could copy their uniforms to give them the look of winners.

I think Rooney was so flattered that he said sure do it.

Dodgers signed Hisashi Iwakuma. I like it, sucks to give up the draft pick, but oh well.

I have mixed feelings on this. Yeah, he's a good pitcher, but is he as good as Greinke? Looking at his numbers, I doubt it. He's probably our 3rd best SP behind Kershaw and Ryu. We've improved our depth, but that's about it. Hopefully, we can still sign Cueto, or Maeda.

On another note, the Rams... :help:

He's a good pitcher. Plus they're paying him $20 million less per season than Greinke will be making on his contract. Greinke isn't $20 million per season better than Iwakuma.

I agree but in a league with no cap they still need an elite pitcher

re-signing Anderson was a mistake. Didn't like it then, and don't like it now. The guys is just average. Having said that, I do think Iwakuma will be better than Anderson.

1 year deal. No lose situation, if he pitches as well as last year he might be the 2nd highest paid pitcher next winter (FA class of pitchers is awful), if he gets hurt or is less effective, they part ways anyway.

I guess you and I have a totally different take on Anderson's past season. I wasn't impressed at all with what he did. He was just average to slightly better than average. Let's see if Anderson finishes his season a dodger. I'm thinking he may be waived at some point in the upcoming season.

I'm just hoping that Ryu will be fully recovered from his shoulder surgery. If so, he can have a great year.

Whether you think he was good or just average (ERA+ of 101) says he was barely above average, decent pitching is so hard to find that if you can can get a guy on a 1 year deal (as opposed to having to commit 3+ years) you do it.

Dodgers acquire Aroldis Chapman. That 8/9 bullpen duo.

That solves the 8th and 9th and I'm assuming Hatcher can handle the 7th (he finished well last year).

But who's throwing the first six innings? That rotation is still shaky to put it kindly.
