Cause he sucked here, he put zero effort and was atrocious lost on defense. Unless he had the ball in his hands, he offered nothing.
Only people think the Nuggets f***ed up getting rid of him doesn't understand anything about how he was here.

I think there's a big difference between Wilson on the Broncos and Rodgers on the Packers.
You give Jeudy/Sutton/Hamler to Rodgers he's going to make those guys look like a million bucks, just like he has any semi-competent WR. The problem is Green Bay has absolutely nobody worth a shred of a shit to catch passes. Rodgers is still 8th in yards and 7th in TDs despite having a horrible season by his standards.
Now the "really doesn't care" part I won't argue. He looks like he doesn't give a f*** because he got his money, realizes no good WRs are coming so he'll just gunsling whether it works or not. But even with that mentality he's a thousand times better than Wilson.

Honestly, I wish we could've done a Rodgers deal instead. That's who Hackett designed this offense for, and that's why Hackett was hired in the first place. Paton would deny it of course, but c'mon... Rodgers with Sutton, JJ, and Hamler might've actually worked.
And the other part is that Russ is washed. Dude is a lemon. Seattle is the best they have been in years since getting rid of him. They are laughing so hard at us right now for taking the bait. I don't care if Russ was trying to force his way out, if a team is willing to deal you their franchise QB, and are not trying EVERYTHING possible to keep him, like Green Bay did with Rodgers, there is something wrong, and it should send up red flags.

He's basically Tim Patrick. Below average speed, decent size, fine route runners, excellent hands.
Neither should ever be a #1 receiver on a halfway decent team.

I'm glad Bol Bol is thriving in the NBA but I'm not certain he'd have ever been able to succeed in Denver. I don't think that's a huge loss.
Kinda surprised no one, including the Nuggets, have inquired about the availability of Boogie Cousins. Dude was quite good in a supporting role for Denver and is only 32. I get he's got a rep as kind of a headcase but sure seems like he'd help a lot of teams out there.

Boogie is best in this exact role. He's not getting much money and hopefully he doesn't need it. Wait it out until closer to the deadline and see where he gets the best role and a shot at a title. Everyone knows his agents number, he will get a call at some point so he just has to stay in shape.
I think I need to see a lot more than an eight game sample in a new offense to call a guy washed. And the age difference is huge, the Broncos can cut Russ around Rodgers current age if needed. Maybe it's frustration but Rodgers just looks like he doesn't care anymore. Russ clearly still cares and wants to win badly here. Anyways doesn't matter what people think of his current state Russ is the starting QB for this and the next four seasons minimum, might as well figure out how to best utilize him.
Broncos WR are talented but they are prone to drops and Rodgers doesn’t go back to guys who drop passes. He is still the same guy who opts to not go to ota to work with new wr. Would t change if he was in Denver.
The offense would look better with Aaron but without a good run game you’re putting it on his shoulders with a group of young WR and he’s not exactly loving playing with young Wideouts.
That’s the situation that will make trading him difficult for another team. How much is he going to put the time in to work with his new guys. Does that team have veteran WR. Aaron had Nelson before Adams. Those were his go to guys in the past. How many years are you also expecting out of Rodgers.
I was a big proponent of bringing Rodgers in this offseason but watching a few of his games - he’s kinda lost it as well. He’s been under throwing a lot of dudes this year, and that’s not on the WR - it’s on him. He does a great job of deflecting blame to everyone else though. If Russ’s worst personality traits are how weird/odd he is, Rodgers worst is that he is never ever to blame for anything.
Rodgers with this young WR group I don’t think would mesh. As an organization how long do you truly believe Rodgers will play for before you acquire him. TB, with Brady it wasn’t a trade so no assets to give up. But they knew it was going to be like 2-3 years. If his dream is to play in SF I can see that happening next season.
