If it saved Hackett’s job for any length of time, hurt.Did that win in London actually help them team or blind them. I feel like they should still recoup some assets for Chubb.

With him basically saying that they knew the team would struggle this year, It sure sounds like he's drinking the Kool aid.... A Kool aid that he himself has stirred.I think it's always a net positive when the Broncos beat the Jags. To lose on an international stage like that would've been humiliation beyond the pale.
That said, I hope Paton isn't fooled. Hard to say if he is or not.
Seriously? What makes him a terrible person?Durant is a big diva who actively worked against Nash, but Kyrie is a full-blown psycho and just an all-around terrible person. Whatever the case, that trainwreck was destined to fail. Makes me laugh that anyone thought Simmons was going to make a difference.
One London fiasco, turned out to help the Broncos long term.I think it's always a net positive when the Broncos beat the Jags. To lose on an international stage like that would've been humiliation beyond the pale.

Tua is under control for the next 2 seasons. Waddle another 2 years on the rookie deal. I doubt Chubb gets top 3 DE money. He will get paid as that is a premium position. By the time they have to give new deals to Tua and Waddle they will be past the guaranteed money on Hill. That trade tree however probably excludes Miami’s own first last season that they had to use to jump back up to grab Waddle. And the extra picks they also gave up to get Hill beyond the first rounder. That haul is going to cost them a ton of cap space next year. Chubb probably going to ask for Donald money. Hill already blew up the WR market. Once they sign Tua they better start contending because the money will be gone.
Seriously? What makes him a terrible person?
This guy has donated millions to WNBA players, impoverished people in Pakistan, the hungry/needy in NYC, bought a house for the family of George Floyd, and that's just the stuff that is publicly available for our knowledge.
You may not agree with how he thinks but all around terrible person? What has he done to people to be considered a terrible person?
You're mixing up Kyrie and Durant. If you would like to defend someone who most recently promoted an anti-semitic film on his social media by all means, go ahead. But don't just whittle it down to "You may not agree with how he thinks." That's just plain lazy.
He's also a rabid anti-vaxxer and once believed (probably still believes despite his statements to the contrary) the world is flat. He's a moron on top of being a rotten human being who's about one step away from going full Kanye and completely losing his marbles.
I DGAF how many charitable causes he's donated to, philanthropy doesn't just magically erase the idiocy he spews on a regular basis.
You're mixing up Kyrie and Durant.
Ain’t this the truth. I love it when multi-billionaires give like 1/2 million when something happens and the media pisses their pants about it. Behind the scenes the billionaire probably paid the media a few k to make it sound better than it actually is.Wealthy shitbags donate money all the time. That isn't a good argument.
So let me get this straight: him being a rabid anti-vaxxer and thinking the world is flat, and supposedly being a moron makes him this super horrible person? If you would like to defend someone who most recently promoted an anti-semitic film on his social media by all means, go ahead. But don't just whittle it down to "You may not agree with how he thinks." That's just plain lazy.

Please keep defending this guySo let me get this straight: him being a rabid anti-vaxxer and thinking the world is flat, and supposedly being a moron makes him this super horrible person?
Like, what are your standards for "horrible person" here? He hasn't actually done anything. Unless all anti-vaxxers and flat earthers are completely horrible people in your eyes. Then there's no discussion to be had.
I just told you, anti-semitism is what makes him a horrible person. The anti-vaxx and flat earth stances just make him stupid in addition to that.So let me get this straight: him being a rabid anti-vaxxer and thinking the world is flat, and supposedly being a moron makes him this super horrible person?

Don't mind me I've been sick with a fever today. I probably misread a post or two.No I'm not. Read my original post. I called Durant a diva, I went on to call Kyrie a terrible person. If roughem made that mistake in his reply, then that's on him, but I was merely replying to his post.

He's a guy who uses his huge platform to bring harm and prejudice onto people, so how is he not a horrible person?

I'm not about to get into a debate about what is and isn't a person's thoughts on Jewish people but FAR worse has been said/done in the past by athletes/non-athletes. And the same can be mentioned for what isn't said.Hey nevermind the anti-semitism stuff because he just made a gigantic $500k donation to the community. He’s such a stand up guy…..Lol.
Kyrie Irving Meets With Media, Attempts To Clarify Stance
Kyrie Irving is acknowledging the hurt he caused the Jewish community, saying he "meant no harm" ... and to prove he's serious, the NBA star says he'll donate $500K to fight hate.www.tmz.com
Kyrie wasn't exactly "silent".I'm not about to get into a debate about what is and isn't a person's thoughts on Jewish people but FAR worse has been said/done in the past by athletes/non-athletes. And the same can be mentioned for what isn't said.
You want to label Kyrie some horrible person, just go ahead and label every NBA player a horrible person because of their silence regarding issues in China out of fear of losing money. Or label every NHLer who participates in the NHL's trips to Israel for promotion a horrible person because of their silence on the issues in Palestine. Rinse and repeat with *insert issue here*.
And the silence of others speaks just as loud as the words of his. "False equivalency" lol.Nope. Not getting into this false equivalency bullshit with you. You wanna pick Kyrie as your hill? By allllll means. You can stand alone there.
No. Kyrie actively has been promoting this paranoia. And the silence of others speaks just as loud as the words of his. "False equivalency" lol.
Lmao. Hard pass.110 million for Chubb. Enjoy paying that, Miami.
